"Welcome to the Wildlife Friends of Thailand

The Wildlife Friends Foundation Thailand (WFFT) is a registered foundation under Thai law. The foundation has as main objectives the conservation of wildlife, protection of natural resources and the environment.

Currently the WFFT runs several projects from hands-on wildlife rescue, medical care, wildlife rehabilitation, research on wildlife and marine mammals as well as the release of wild animals back to the wild.

Here are some of the WFFT projects which need your help."

      I am from the uk but live in thailand, and i can honestly say that the way they treat animals here is disgusting, 1- because there are no animal rights laws here and 2- the locals are not fully educated on how to treat and look after animals

      the amount of times i see elephants, gibbons and reptiles on the streets used as tourist attractions is sad, and you only need to look at soi dog foundation phuket to see how the dogs are treated it is so sad.

      i will be looking into the above project

      i've actually volunteered with my school friends here and i have to say the place has done a wonderful job protecting these abused animals. i had a great experience working and taking care of these animals, it truly changed my views on things related to animals being abused. This is a worthwhile cause.
