Rachael Ray Sues Home Inspectors For Failing To Reveal Dangerous Mold Problem!

| Filed under: Icky Icky PooLegal MattersRachael Ray

Rightfully so! We'd be livid, too!

Rachael Ray and her husband, John Cusimano, have filed a lawsuit against home inspection companies for failing to notify them that the house that they bought in Long Island, NY has a severe mold problem that may have been affecting their health!

Ray has had a history of serious respiratory problems, and the inspectors failed to spot the mold and water damage in the $2.9 million villa back in 2007, when they brought the property!

According to a source:

"Rachael and John were considering selling the property when the mold problem became apparent. It is such a beautiful home, but this could make it impossible for them to sell the house until the problem is solved."

You never expect the people you're trusting to ensure your home is safe to fail completely are recognizing a serious issue!

Hopefully this matter can be resolved and can find a safer place to live, given her health problems!

Some home construction items that are now made in China have recently caused serious health/poisoning problems nationwide for home owners. In one sub-division, 90% of the new homes had China-made poisonous materials that were making people sick and had to be redone with other materials. Maybe that is what killed Brittany Murphy and her husband?

Many people no longer actually do their job. It's pitiful.

Sue the fuck out of them.

I'd luv to see Rachel nude….she looks like she aims to please!!

Home inspectors are missing mold in homes that were once used for marijuana grow-op operations. Grow-ops create a huge amount of humidity and home inspectors are missing these kinds of homes left and right, giving them glowing reports and clean bills of health. Home inspectors are often useless.

Why do people INSIST on saying "IN Long Island" it is ON Long Island… Long Island is an ISLAND.

Maybe she's a cochina and made her house moldy.

how the fuck do u get paid so much for writing stupid shit on pics "yo fuck this? ur a fuckin washed up loser

Home inspection companies warrant nothing. The form states their is or is not visible problems on the date they did the inspection. It may not have had mold in 2007 that was VISIBLE is what their argument in court will be. I do not think Rachael will win.

How is she going to prove the mold and water damage was there before she moved in? It could've happened after she moved in. Anything can happen in 3 years with a house.

Why ever would a home inspector hide a mold problem? They don't profit from a sale of a home. Seriously, if every home owner found mold when trying to sell a home, why not go and blame the home inspection? Or the home buider, or the real estate agent? Go and fix the mold problem instead of blaming others for what is obviously a faulty home from wear and tear. Wawahwah!

In my state at least, you can only sue the home inspector for the cost of the inspection. Which sucks, but he obviously missed it, or it was covered up or not visible on inspection day. This is one reason you go for a very experienced inspector, not the cheapest price. She may have done that, but even the best may miss something…

ya good luck with that lawsuit you little dummy, you will lose.it's your fault for not getting more than one inspector…but thats Americans for ya,it's always someone elses fault.

In every picture of her I see, it looks like they stuck her head on someone else's body. Wierd.

I wonder if her history of serious respiratory problems comes from the fact that she's a 2-pack-a-day smoker of Camels… That's why she has to add so much grill seasoning to everything, since she can barely taste the food she makes.

Re: Tallulah562 – omg i comment every single one of his posts where he says IN long island and correct him. it drives me CRAZY

Re: omgeogeo – My thoughts exactly. Her respiratory problems come from SMOKING. EVERYONE has a little bit of mold in their house. EVERYONE. I think this is just a bunch of bullshit. Or maybe she has a crack/meth problem and is trying to blame the mold? I wouldn't doubt it - she's a little too chipper and hyped up for my taste. Can't stand her. But some of her recipes are surprisingly good! She's just not a chef. She's a cook.
