She says:
"Any child that has parents who are divorced are lucky. They get extra Christmas presents, birthday presents and extra trips. I revert back to when my mum and dad split up. I was three or four and I can’t even remember it. So really it was good."
Oh yes, kids growing up with residual feelings of guilt because Mommy and Daddy stopped loving each other, not to mention the financial struggles that come with single parenting - they are very lucky, aren't they, bb?
Better yet - let's just wait until YOUR kids are old enough to talk about how lucky they are to you have YOU for a mother!

Kids don't care about extra presents. Where in the hell did she get that? Kids care about being loved by both parents and the quality time spent with them.

Kids with divorced parents ARE lucky because they don't have to live with screaming and argueing all the time. I was 7 when my parents got divorced and I remember I was very happy and relieved to see the fighting come to an end.

That is one of the stupidest things I've ever read. She is truly an idiot. My parents divorced when I was 14. The worst part about it is not having any sense of home or family structure. That kind of thing scars you. Her kids, however, will not look back on their childhood and remember getting extra presents through two christmases and two birthday celebrations.

I was dramatized by my parents divorce and I was 37. Divorce is bad no matter which way you look at it. Obviously this chick has no common sense. If she did, she would have realized she looks like an ass with that chest of hers. Boobs dont make you smarter…and that is soooo evident here.

i love you perez, but im not being funny, i was watching the show This Morning when she was on it ( i live in england ) and she didnt mean it like that at all, they asked her what the kids thought of there divorce and she said basically said well its better we did it now rather when they were older because they dont understand it, and she is going by her own expierences, my parents broke up when i was 3 and i dont remember and honestly i am not bothered, because they both love me and thats all that matters and yeah i do get extra presents and trips and its great

actually she said this from her own experience of her parents being divorced when she was about 4
and to some extent it is better to have 2 separated parents that love you rather than be in a house where the parents cant stand each other

That's out of context of what she said Perez, she's great with the kids and you can especially see that with how she is around her disabled son Harvey. Yes, my baby brother was so lucky he didn't have a father there to teach him how to shave. I was sooo lucky I had to choose between the two and be the mediator for all the stupid fights and child support bs. Oh my god, I was so lucky.
My mom was super lucky she couldn't pay our rent because she had to support us by herself. Because I got an extra birthday present somewhere in there. It was aaalll worth it.

to be honest shes probably right. my parents split when i was quite young. i dont miss how it was before because i dont remember any other way. whilst i was a child and a teenager (i only turned 18 and moved out last year) i liked double the attention and being an only child, i liked the fact that if one parent said no the other would probably let me have my own way. id rather that than have it when i was 13 and i understood it all
Though i do not like this fake barbie doll, i agree that NOT ALL children are affected negatively by divorce. Especially if the parents act like adults and not quarreling children. Divorce is very prominent and none of us kids ever thought it was our fault. And i don't know any kids that think its their without someone planting that seed in their head.
