Courtney Love is in talks to replace Simon Cowell on American Idol, too!
It's in the early stages, but supposedly they are serious!
Other names that have been flying around include Jessica Simpson, Howard Stern, Bret Michaels, Chris Isaak, Elton John and Justin Timberlake.
But we have to say that Courtney Love would likely be the most entertaining of them all!

I think Elton John would be a good choice and so would Brett Michaels. I don't think I would ever watch if Timberlake was a judge, but I would probably watch a little if Love was a judge just for the train wreck factor. I can't imagine Jessica doing it, but I guess for the Paula part it could be ok. She is a nice girl after all and she might stay awake better than Courtney too.

I'm sure you're right, Courtney Love WOULD be the most entertaining - but let's not forget she actually IS extremely talented, one of the great songwriters of our time in my opinion - just often underestimated because of all the crap she's always in the media for. I say she should do it!

Courtney, Bret, blah blah does it matter? With Paula and now Simon gone, I just don't think it's going to be about the panel anymore. It will only be about the "talent" trying out, and without a working panel, that alone will die quick.
