Death Threats To American Idol Reject!

Ian Bernardo, did you really expect to sue one of America’s most beloved TV shows and get away scot free?
American Idol reject Bernardo is suing the show for $300 million because producers told him to ‘gay it up’, which he did, and then he believes they ruined his career. Now, Bernardo claims he’s receiving constant death threats from unknown numbers. He has filed a report with the NYPD.
According to Bernardo, one caller said to him that he “can’t wait for him to die of AIDS.”
While we’re not wishing death on anyone, we wonder if Bernardo ruined his career by ‘gaying it up’ on AI, or if his ridiculous lawsuit played the entire role a small part in damaging his career.

Ummm…I've seen Youtube vids of this guy from his "regular" day-to-day life and he's still just as gay-acting as he was on Idol! He can't possibly "gay it up" anymore than he already has.

I hate to defend him at all because I dislike him, but I know him through a mutual friend and I know for a fact that he was a hired actor by American Idol to act a fool on TV. He's actually a somewhat of a rich kid from the Upper East Side and he's definitely NOT as gay as he acts on the show.
That put aside, even though I find him annoying, he does not deserve death threats or the AIDS comments, that's just rude and degrading. Maybe it was a poor choice to accept the job given to him by Idol, but I guess "actors" do desperate things for publicity.
