You know, we are starting to see what people are getting at when they accuse this administration of over-exposure.
Vice President Joe Biden's wife, Dr. Jill Biden, will be playing herself in an upcoming episode of Army Wives, alongside some real-life wives of soldiers.
Dr. Biden's episode will feature the first lady visiting the fictional Fort Marshall to discuss that many hardships facing military families. While on set, she told the crowd:
"I'm proud to be here today as a second lady, but I'm even more proud to be here as a military mom..Although only one percent of Americans are fighting our wars today, we need 100 percent of Americans to support them and their families."
The show will air on August 8th, but a special screening will happen on Thursday at Fort Belvoir in Virginia for the troops.
It's nice to see the second lady get involved in the community, but maybe she could spend more time visiting actual bases instead of ficitional ones. Just wondering what this appearance will actually do for the families with loved ones in Iraq.
