Another Curious George Movie?

| Filed under: Film FlickersWill Ferrell

Here we go again…

Despicable Me animator Illumination Entertainment is planning an adaptation of Curious George.

The last Curious George movie came out back in 2006 with Will Ferrell doing the voice for the Man with the Yellow Hat. As for this new version, "the wry animated images of Despicable Me" will be adapted to George's world.

We're not impressed.

Uhm…I took my 5-year-old daughter to see the first one when it came out and she loved it. Why would you need to be impressed by a movie for 5-year-olds? Looking for new kids to molest? WTF? Are you going to start critisizing Winnie the Pooh movies next?

I'm looking forward to it - my daughter and son love Curious George!!

I've got 4 kids and we go to the movies all the time. I rate kids' movies as such: good (I could watch it again); tolerable (okay to watch once, I don't want to see it again); and COMPLETELY INTOLERABLE (wish I'd never had to see it). The last CURIOUS GEORGE movie is the example I use when I am talking about completely intolerable movies. No way am I going to subject myself to another Curious George movie.

"We're not impressed." I hardy think that flamboyant gay pedophiles are the target audience here.

Ok, for what reasons would you need to be impressed? Your like 40 something odd years old. Clearly no one gives a shit because your opinion is not valid. For christ's sake I am going into high school and this is my favorite movie of all time. Just cause you can't have any fun and you think just because another kids movie is coming out that it is going to be horrible.

I bet you didn't even see the first one. From a kids perspective it was a wonderful movie.
