Comedy Dream Team Reunites!

| Filed under: Film FlickersCharlize TheronDiablo Cody

The last time Jason Reitman and Diablo Cody made a movie, Ellen Page became a superstar and strippers everywhere began to believe that they too could win an Oscar!

Now, the genius minds behind Juno are back to collaborating again.

Mandate Pictures are helming the production of Young Adult, a new flick in which Jason will direct, Diablo will write and Charlize Theron will star. Hopefully, with enough backing, the film will go into production in New York come this November.

Considering the amazing success of Juno, a studio would have to be pretty stupid not to pick up this gem!

considering the major flop known as jennifer's body, i think any studio is smart enough to not waste money on her.

"Juno" was a flash in the pan. Once you get past the gimmicky (and rapidly annoying) tween "newspeak" angle you realize that it is a pretty shabby movie…with a pretty bad message.
Diablo got what she wanted - a Hollywood trout stupid enough to knock her up and pay for her tattoo removal surgery. "Jennifer's Body" shows nicely what can be created when someon just doesn't give a shit anymore.
And all you strippers out there who think Diablo is some kind of heroine? Wake the fuck up, she's an EX-stripper (for obvious reasons) - now that she's "famous" she wouldn't piss on any of you if you were on fire.

Re: ba-buttons – What are you talking about? The girl can write no doubt about it. She stripped for a year. So what?

And I don't know what you're talking about - she has even more tattoos now.

There's a huge difference between "luck" and "talent" in Hollywood.
"Luck" is what you need to get you discovered, and garner some degree of success. "Talent" is what keeps that success and career moving forward…

One successful ( teenage cliché ) movie does not a talented writer make in my opinion, sorry.
