Bob Marley's Master Recordings Destroyed In Fire!

So tragic.

Several of Bob Marley's master recordings and personal belongings were destroyed in a fire in Aburi, Ghana.

The tapes were being stored at Studio One, the solar-powered studio founded by Marley's wife, Rita. It was set to open just one month after the blaze.

Rita will rebuild the complex and revealed that there was priceless concert footage lost in the fire, which was said to be caused by electrical problems.

Sad.

Ghana?? If Rita didn't wanna store these items in Jamaica, there were other options: Miami, the U.K. What was she thinking? Now how is this humongous family going to live off Bob Nesta Marley's estate?

That's alright, Bob's music will live on and his message about love will still live on. He didn't care for possessions so I assume that if he was alive today he'd just shrug his shoulders at this news. The only thing priceless in this world is love. I think more Perez readers should listen to Bob's music and learn to be nicer to each other.

caroaber, I think Damian, Ziggy and Kymani Marley's music being HUGELY popular worldwide, plus millions of dollars brought in from Bob's daughter's clothing line Catch A Fire, in addition to immense royalty fees, etc., will ensure no Marley goes hungry.

Good grief. This family has as much money (if not more) than the Elvis estate.
