Elena Kagan Is The 112th U.S. Supreme Court Justice

And the fourth woman in history to hold the position!!!

Moments ago, Elena Kagan was elected the 112th justice to the Supreme Court.

The vote on the Senate floor was 63- 37, with five Republicans voting in her favor and one Democrat against.

By the week's end, Elena will be sworn in.

Congrats girl!

Anyways, Brandeis didn't contribute to ruining our country–he seemed to be against big government, monopolies, etc. His most significant opinion strengthened state's rights by declaring there is no such thing as federal common law (Erie doctrine).
