Although he was cleared of doping charges in 2006, Lance Armstrong is in deep shiz again!

Ever since former teammate Floyd Landis accused Lance of systematic doping, federal prosecutors are on the case. According to reports, they have other cyclists who are backing up the claims.

One of Armstrong's former teammates told several investigators that cheating ran rampant among the United States team and Lance supported it.

Armstrong's agent and manager would not comment. His lawyer, Bryan D. Daly, believes that the other cyclists are lying, saying:

"They just want to incriminate Lance Armstrong and that's my concern. The bottom line is, if you take away the soap opera and look at the scientific evidence, there is nothing."

It's reported that more cyclists will meet with the grand jury.

Yikes!

My God! What drama. A bunch of spoiled divas. Bicycle riding in France. Give us a bleeping break. Line up the bunch of them and beat them all with a bike horn! What idiots. What amazing idiots.

Lance Armstrong is no national hero, he's an international joke and a liar! L'Equipe (famous french journal of sports) reported it had evidence that six of Armstrong's urine samples from the '99 Tour tested positive for EPO. The substance was banned in 1999, but there was no reliable test at the time….

This smells of Landis and LeMond. They're both big crybabys — Landis because he got his Tour win taken away and LeMond because he isn't America's greatest cyclist any more. Take my word for it, all the elite cyclists dope. They wouldn't win if they didn't. It's jealousy, pure and simple. And anyone who turns him in ought to keep looking behind, because they'll be next.

Re: maddmarlasinging – L'Equipe has said a lot of things. They're probably right about Lance's team — I think they doped to help him. Whether he did or not is still open to question. And what's your point? All the top cyclists dope, not just armstrong. He's a target because he was so good. Frankly, I hope they nail Contador because he does too.

  5. 5

If he did it, I'm sure he wouldn't have been dumb enough to tell them he did it.

aeduko- You are completely right. Who is better served to discredit Armstrong? Every other professional cyclist. The foreign press hate America, and for one of our own to win their national sport was a shot to the heart. They hated LeMond, too. If he discredits Lance, he is the best American cyclist, ever. He is not.

I can't stand this guy. I feel so sorry for his ex-wife. I hope he does get caught if this is true. Jerk.

  8. 8

SO WERE SUPPOSED TO BELIEVE HE WAS ABLE TO COMPETE AGAINST ALL THESE PEOPLE USING STEROIDS AND WIN 7 TIMES WITHOIUT BEING ON STEROIDS HIMSELF????

  9. 9

hey, if you can show me a dirty drug test where he actually tested positive then i'll buy it. just show me he popped a drug test and i'll ride him out on a rail with all the other folks.

until then it's the word of Landis, a convicted doper, and a bunch of other convivted dopers against the guy who's never tested positive.

  10. 10

PERSONALLY I SUPPORT USING STEROIDS. IT MAKES SPORTS MORE COMPETITIVE AND EXCITING. IF YOU DONT WANT TO DO WHAT IT TAKES TO COMPETE GET THE HELL OUT SO WE CAN WATCH THOSE WHO DO

Re: aeduko – Actually it's not open to question… he doped; he's a doper; there is actual evidence of him having EPO in his system… I see nothing wrong with Landis and LeMond trying to drag him down with them; it's not jealousy it's just spite. The American press is the only biased press in this matter; that's why y'all don know notin bout notin!

  12. 12

Of course he's doping. Pretty much the top 50 riders in Le Tour are dopers. Why do you think he got cancer?

  13. 13

to those who think that Lance "wouldn't let anyone know he was doping", all I can say is that you have no clue what a gay bath house is professional cycling.

Lance Armstrong is one of the most tested athletes in the world. The man can't take a leak without someone asking for a sample. If he WERE doping he would have to be some kind of magician to get away with it for so long.
All the critics need to take their sour grapes, build a bridge and GET OVER IT!!

  15. 15

Lance Armstrong is one of the most tested athletes in the world! He would have to be some kind of magician if he were able to get away with doping all these years. The man can't take a leak without someone taking it as a sample.

As for the "we are supposed to believe that he beat all of the other cyclists that were doping"…does that mean every extraordinary athletes (like Michael Phelps) that beat other athletes (some of which i am sure were doping) never happens??

Also, a lot of folks don't understand how cycling competitions happen. It is not a one day thing, it is cumulative throughout the 3 weeks (or however long) so Lance could never win a stage and still come out winning the whole thing.

  16. 16

First of all, if Armstrong never doped how the hell did he beat those like Landis and others who did dope???? There is no way cheating Armstrong could win seven, SEVEN, tour de france without taking performance drugs. The reason he is so well protected is because his image is that of a strong American male athlete who declared he never took drugs. If anyone can prove that he cheated, than it will be one of the biggest news in cycling history. If Armstrong confesses and found guilty, he'll be the biggest liar and hypocrite on earth. His team is doing everything in their power to not see that happen. But the truth will always come out..Sooner or later, the oath of silence among cyclist will be broken when someone like Landis is going down for doping then he's going to hold Armstrong accountable as well. Look at Tiger Woods, we all thought he was so clean cut and family man..Armstrong you're day will come and I hope all your awards will be stripped if you CHEATED and LIED about it!

  17. 17

Gee, a bunch of crybaby frenchman, how strange. Every single member of this "team" can make a claim if they want to, it doesn't amount to a damn thing without an ounce of proof. All talk by a bunch of sore losers.
