it said "great things" not "good things" and HOW is this sexual or racy at all?
its just a play on great things come in pairs which could be about anything
why dont you get your mind out of the gutter and stop projecting your perv thoughts on to everything

  2. 2

didnt even understand what could be offensive when i first read it

  3. 3

I don't get how that is Sexual.

  4. 4

You got to be perv to even think the tagline is "racy".

  5. 5

The reason everyone is getting up in arms is that "bears" is a slang word for Hairy gay older men. Other than that I don't see what the prob is. Its a play on words for great things come in pairs.

Controversy creates interest. Which is what Warner Bros. are doing right now. It's obviously some sort of (lame) parody on "great things come in pairs", but still, I'm not sure if they didn't use this tagline for multiple purposes. Ah well, they've gotta do something to sell this turd. Also why does Yogi look like he's about to eat Boo-Boo? And what's with the glassy eyes, where's he supposed to be - college?

    9

"Great things come in pairs" they said bears instead. It's a play on words. People are so dumb ! This is not SEXUAL at all !

  10. 10

Only gay porn enthusiasts will get the reference.

  11. 11

    Re: Canukgrl

exactly, bears = hairy big men, and "great things" as the size of these men dic*s, now you do understand why some people are thinking that this is offensive right ?(personally, i think is clever, not that i'm looking forward to going see this movie, but i really liked this tagline)

    12

This is not a sexual tag line, its perverted people turning something innocent into something disgusting! They should be ashamed of themselves…. seriously? WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH PEOPLE?

  13. 13

Get your mind out of the gutter perv.

  14. 14

Most NORMAL people would never think of hairy gay men when reading this poster!

  15. 15

Democrats get so offended at the stupidest things anymore! Idiots!

  16. 16

Only people who find this racy are extremely Gay sensitive and aware, as those are the people who think of a big burly hairy man when they hear the word "Bear"

  17. 17

    I like bears…

  18. 18

as a teenager, i do understand that it "could" be viewed as sexual. but for heavens sake, ANYTHING could be seen as sexual to some people. i think it's cute, and it is a play on the "great things come in pairs" tagline.

    so people…just bug off.

  19. 19

The type of people that are offended by a "bear" or "come" innuendo would not be the same people that read that tagline and have those innuendos come to mind…lol

  20. Flan says – reply to this

    20

Okay, you need another option on your survey:

"For F#$k-sake, gimme a break conservatives"!!!!!

  21. 21

its sad you cant even get the line right when its right on the poster. either the person who posted this is real lazy, or just that stupid. *shakes head*

  22. 22

wow I thought the word "come" was the problem, lolz

  23. 23

the tagline really doesn't make sense lol

  24. 24

A movie about bears using the word "bear" in a tagline. WOW!!!

  25. 25

im pretty sure he was thinking, cuming in a bear. but ur rite, you do have to think like a pervert

  26. 26

i dont get it? someone explain?

  27. 27

The world is filled with pervs who create these thoughts in their heads. It's a child's cartoon they don't even know what the hell that means. I mean hasn't Charmin brought up Bear Bottoms? It is just quick for a 5 year old who the movie is meant for. It's a kiddie pun.

  28. junk says – reply to this

    28

how pathethic that there are actually people out there that find this offensive…These people are either really sheltered or just plain psycho.

  29. 29

I'm not gay or overly gay sensative, but please kids, you don't think it's a blantant sexual reference? Didn't make me think of gays, it made me think of sexual molesters (which are typically straight) looking at kids with glazed eyes and sick intentions. Just to head off the inevitable "you must be a child moletster" comments, being a child advocate after seeing others devasted by abuse makes me human, nothing else.

    Parents are going to freak.

  30. 30

Don't get it. x] Come again???

  31. 31

Wow. Do people not have lives anymore that they have to take a pun and make is sound sexual? HELLO! Has no one ever of the saying "Great things come in PAIRS!" I got that pun when I read it and there is nothing sexual unless Boo Boo is going to dance to "Sexy Back"

  32. 32

who's "everyone" here? I didn't even get it til I looked at the comments here.
I don't think anyone besides pervs who watch a lot of gay porn would even think this meant anything sexual. AKA Perez.

  33. 33

I don't think there's anything offensive about it at all. It's a children's movie; they're definitely not going to infer any sexual reference from that tagline. In fact it was so non-sexual to me, I had to read the comments to find out what the "sexual" reference supposedly is.

  34. 34

lmao people will whine about anything these days

  35. 35

If this is intentionally sexual, it makes so sense, as the bear is clearly coming in the great thing and not the other way around.

However, it seems many who are commenting have never heard of a double entendre. It is possible that this is punny on multiple levels.

  36. 36

Bears are cool. Very cuddly and furry. Good kissers, lots of times. Good things DO come in bears.

  37. 37

I really had to think hard to realise how that was sexual! Whoever found that offensive needs to get their hear checked and out of the gutter!! it wud only have been offensive if they'd spelled 'come' as 'cum'.

  38. S86 says – reply to this

    38

Yogi scares the living shit out of me.

  39. 39

This is clearly a double entendre. The big bear behind the little bear, insinuating that the little bear is getting butt fucked. Little kids won't figure it out. How naive of those that don't see it.

  40. 40

Re: GG78 – thank god there are some smart people left in this world.

  41. 41

    Ridiculous!

  42. 42

    lol. Love it! :D

  43. 43

    Re: Waboo

Every thing is slang for something offensive to somebody these days. My husband was wearing a SOHO tee shirt he bought in New York and some little kid we didn't even know accused him of wearing a "bad word".

  44. 44

I don't get it, and I could not vote because there is not a box for "huh??"

  45. 45

so I don't think annnyyonne would think sexually about this tagline without being asked to. But once asked to… it's pretty funny. but this is a movie for kids this shouldn't even be an issue. I mean come on, where is the line drawn, its like perverts have ruined everything innocent.

  46. 46

its like noddy was considered offensive cos he slept in the bed with big ears

  47. 47

Re: PunkRockGurl09 – You're right. I think most people will receive it as intended rather than reaching for the sexual reference.

  48. 48

I have the dirtiest mind of anyone I know and I can't possibly fathom how this is considered sexual.

  49. 49

Re: fer cyccone – True with the gay reference. But does that mean we can't say the word bears anymore?? Haha the main audience for this film will be children and I really hope that they don't know what a bear is in the gay community.

  50. 50

Does that mean Yogi is the bear and BooBoo is the twink??

  51. 51

Re: Christina Polo – Maybe the kid was confused with MOFO.

  52. 52

Only dirty disgusting minds tag everything said or read or done as sexual.

They should get some therapy. And maybe someone should take a 'peek' into THEIR closet.

  53. 53

    Re: BritBrit61384
i only get some second intentions with this tagline because i'm very used to hear the word "bear" in the sexual way, but i do think that everybody should know how to separate things, this tagline isn't offensive in any way, it's just very intelligent and well placed, if the people that are generating fuzz over this pay a little atention, they will notice that the movie is about two ""BEARS""…
nowadays anyone can fell offended with anything…

  54. 54

To explain it to the people that lack humor, the poster makes it look like Yogi is porking Boo-boo. This gives the tagline unintentional(?) sexual innuendo.

You may now return to Leave it to Beaver.

  55. 55

The only reason THIS should be offensive is if it said "Great things CUM in bears" and the bears on the poster were having sex… As for people being offended by the actual poster… Get over yourselves!!! There ARE important issues to focus on–this NOT being one of them!!!! How pathetic!!

  56. 56

There's a big difference between "good" and "great", so when in doubt, Perez, look at the poster. The tagline isn't sexual either, its just that too many people enjoy having their heads up their asses so much that they don't bother putting issues in perspective.

  57. 57

Re: Ida Clair – Then you are seriously disturbed. I'm sorry.

  58. 58

i think that it's really cute. "bears" instead of "pairs" but it's a pair of bears. little kids don't think that way -dirty. but us adults are dirty minded and have to stir up controversy.

  59. 59

DAAA this is a reference to great things come in pairs!!! pfff!! some people! paliizz!

  60. 60

I doubt they had fat gay hairy men in mind when they wrote the tagline. I often wonder whether you truly are this stupid. I mean, you're named after Paris Hilton, who built a career on acting stupid.

  61. gloom says – reply to this

    61

    i don't get it

  62. 62

What is sexual about it? Bears? Come? Only super verts like Mario would read something into that. The play on words is on the phrase "good things come in pairs" idiot!!!
