Amazing. So cinematic and Megan and Dom really makes this one.

  2. 7tizz says – reply to this

So the joke known as Eminem is still around, eh? Man, music is really terrible nowadays if this constitutes a hit.

  3. 3

    Rihanna is awesome !
I love RiRi & Megan (HOT!!)

  4. 4

I didn't even watch it. I agree with Perez about the message/lyrics. Just not into the song.

  5. medii says – reply to this

you know the lyrics are so honest. i think in a shit relationship both parties get addicted to the pain and that awful feeling in the stomach. it like being a addict, one day you just have to say no. and leave…

i think eminem is back better than ever with his latest…

  6. 6

Quit being so sanctimonious, Perez! Em and Rhianna are owning what happened to them and turning it into an art form. That's the best thing you can do when that abusive kind of shit is forced on you. Perez, you bug. I'm glad you aren't a judge on American Idol because you are a dick. A dick that goes out of his way to piss on people he doesn't even know. You favor talentless assholes that kiss your ass.

  7. Dolby says – reply to this

who the fuck are "we"? You are such a douche. I mean you all are such douches.

  8. 8

I like the video and the message… i mean its scary but its real.

  9. 9

Great video. But Perez, I don't understand how you could hate the message and lyrics to this song, when it could possibly be one of the most influential songs that Eminem has ever done. It shows the inside of an abuser's head and what is actually going on. It helps show people who are in unhealthy relationships that those relationships are a vicious cycle that will keep being "resolved", when in actuality the violence will never end until the victim takes the initiative to get out.

  10. 10

perfect video for the song! lurve it

  11. 11

i think people are completely misinterpreting this video.
    we all know emimem's past.
we all know what chris brown did to rhianna.
at what point do you thing this is glorifying domestic violence?

has no one ever heard of irony?

  12. 12

Hey asshole, this video was released like 12 hours ago, Get with it.

Great video.. dom is a lucky guy.. emile de ravin, evangeline lilly and now megan fox. pretty good for a hobbit.

  13. 13

Your such a stupid fat waste of space FATez, if you think they're being literal your as stupid as i always knew you were….the message here is yes these are the things you feel in abusive relationships sometimes you love soo much thats how you justify staying but what you need to go is get the hell out thats the message you ASS.

  14. 14

LOVE IT! Megan looks like a great kisser!

  15. 15

Depuis le temps qu'on attendait, ça fait plaisir et ce n'est pas une déception du tout, au contraire c'est une excellente surprise. L'addition de ces deux chanteurs et de ces deux acteurs est un succès. C'est juste PARFAIT !

  16. 16

… Well, Rihanna would probably be the last person I'd expect to see in an Eminem video about domestic violence. This video was nowhere near as perverse and disturbing as that Marilyn Manson one, whatever that was called, but it's still unsettling.

Also, Megan Fox looks seriously haggard and gross.

  17. 17

rihanna is gross. then again they all are.

  18. 18

just saw this on mtv! amazing! love em and mfox!! woo! great song, regardless of negative comments.

  19. 19

this is what I call a good song and no money or stupid shit fuck perez luckily you do not chose for American Idol H: eminem is back

  20. 20

Wow so far impressed with the comments, pointed out things I didn't see at first. Cool coz I like Rihanna, Em and Megan and see it in a diff light now. For once positivity from perez's site.

  21. 21

I expected the video to be so much more dramatic and much heavier in terms of imagery and scenes.
    I'm disappointed

  22. 22

I agree on some of the comments above, I think there is a part of irony here, otherwise it would not be " I love the way you LIE" but "I love the way you are/love me"

  23. 23

Disappointing. Fake punches distracting. And Eminem is supposed to light the bed on fire not that one weird looking actor. And why does Megan Fox look like Lindsey Lohan?

  24. 24

Love the song. Hate Rihannas facial expressions. But her and Megan do look beautiful.

  25. 25

    megan looks really good

  26. 26

    Love it!

  27. 27

everything is cool except for the line, "guess that's why they call it window pane" gay..

  28. 28

I watched it about 3 times to absorb everything (lyrics, actors, singers) and i came to the conclusion that I love it. Really well done. It is a song that can't be taken literally, it is one that you need to think about and acknowledge it is not how the singers feel themselves but is an explanation to the roller coaster of abusive relationships. I also thought Megan and Dom were perfect.

  29. 29

I think Meg did some awesome acting here. So did dominic. Rihanna looks stupid and out of place.

  30. 30

Love Dominic..he is sexy as hell!!..Made the video look great!..can't stand megan…song is ok..but getting tired of Rihanna…and eminem as well.. But the video is great..kept me watching

  31. 31

This video is meant to deal with the emotions that come along with people caught up in love addictive relationships..as we all know eminem was seriously hooked on his no good ex..and we all now Rihanna's past…* the cant live with 'em..cant live without 'em' feeling..but in a destructive way…Its an addiction…they all now its bad for them..but somehow they all *love the way they lie*….

  32. 32

its been on the air for some weeks now youi idiot

  33. 33

Eminem and Rihanna are amazing and Megan and Dominic make this video just that much better. Eminem is blessed with a talent.

  34. 34

    Re: hybridflower – apparently not.

I really like it. I think Megan and Dom made the video.

  35. 35

Also, how can you hate the message when it;s one of the most real feelings people can have? Addictive relationships are REAL and DAMAGING.

  36. 36

    Disturbing, but beautiful….

  37. 37

I dunno I like myself some riri but in this vid, her nails, and her red hair, and the grin she does, and her tits, and how she dances for no reason..all out of place

  38. 38

I think i just actually did a little sex wee in my pants!!! the song is amazing alone but that video!!!!

Megan Fox!!!! that girl be fine!!!

  39. 39

Re: Sid Dithers – grow up, no matter what happens its never ok to hit someone, even if they hit you first!

  40. 40

    Directed perfectly!

  41. 41

Re: RayKay – EXACTLY!! totally agree 100 %

  42. 42

Not a Megan Fox fan at all but is the best I've have ever seen her!!! Maybe its because you don't actually have to hear her talk!!! I love this video - love this song!!!

  43. 43

whats wrong with megan's upper lip? looks like a big @ss mosquito bit it….

  44. 44

Re: poorlittlerichiegirl – I never said it was. I just think that she should have admitted that she started hitting him first instead of acting like she was sitting quietly in the corner, and he came over and beat her up. She's just another spoiled "psycho bitch" that will always get away with whatever she wants. It's a shame!

  45. 45

Beautiful video. I love this video, even though the meaning is disturbing, but I know it is just the two of them showing what they have been through.

  46. 46

I love this song. I think Rihanna and Eminem write art. This song goes deep with the pain they've been through. And Megan and Dom make the song that much hotter!

  47. 47

I was really touched by the song and video. It doesn't glorify abusive relationships but rather brings to light the emotions involved with people caught up in addictive behavior and abusive relationships. It's a cycle that's all too common and hopefully by watching this people will realize just how destructive it is…

  48. 48

I personally like space bound more then LTWYL I think its far more surprising song coming from him and I would like to see a video for that song though I highly doubt one will get made. I still think LTWYL is a good song and the video did what it was intended to do.

  49. 49

Virtually all recent studies show that women initiate domestic violence at least as much as men. Some studies show that WOMEN are more likely to initiate violence. Men cause more damage because they're stronger obviously, but by no means is domestic violence still primarily a male-on-female crime. The reason men get arrested for it more is because primary combatant laws means that police have to take a combatant out of the home for safety. Because society believes that children belong with their moms, men are usually arrested, even if the woman initiated contact.

  50. 50

The message you hate is: if you are in an abusive relationship you should walk away when you still can, because it would always be the same. Nothing will ever change and you should get out until it's not too late. Don't you people listen to the lyrics??
And the song and video are much more deep if you consider their past relationships. And that's the main reason Eminem choose Rihanna for the song. He didn't left anything to chance.
All of you with "too boring" comments probably are used with Gaga's style to shock. Well, this video actually has a conection with the lyrics :) ) And, more important, this lyrics actually express sth.
I would really liked for Em and Riri to play the characters but, consider their lack of chemistry, it's probably better this way.
PS: Guess who's back? Back again? :X

  51. 51

wow powerful…. love megan and dominic together… hate rihanna's hair….

  52. 52

The parts with Dominic Monaghan and Megan Fox are amazing, but the parts with Rihanna and Eminem sucks though, just like the song.

  53. 53

Listening to this song makes you think twice about relationships and how easy they can go from good to bad… To me it's more about listening to that inside voice that tells u walk away… the song is powerful and it's not saying abuse is good it's saying abuse hurts and we all get wrapped up in it…

  54. 54

I wish they would have put a psa at the end, just the hotline for domestic violence or something. Like it or not he lays out the cycle of domestic violence pretty accurately. Beautifully shot as well.

  55. 55

Jerkstore: You are right; women and men both engage in violent behavior in relationships. But don't ever forget: Men KILL women in domestic violence at a rate that can not even compare to the other way around.

Video: Disturbing but poignant. I am so digging Eminem right now.

  56. 56

I LOVE IT!!!!!! everything about it

  57. 57

    Re: BecBecBBe – LOL!!!!!

  58. 58

i really like both the song and the video, perfect blend.

  59. 59

Eminem does the same thing over and over and over. He needs to evolve.

  60. 60

I LOVE THIS VIDEO!!!!!! I am so glad that Eminem is back and I think the song and the video is great. I think people have a problem with the lyrics because of the honesty of being in a relationship like that.

  61. 61

  62. 62

LOVE THIS SONG AND VIDEO! RIRI AND MEGAN KILLED IT! I think it is long over due for someone to bring light to domestic violence and actually how common it is. It's been a taboo thing for way too long! Thank you Eminem for being brave enough to sing about it.

  63. 63

I love it. It was able to show the meaning of the song withouth having him beat on her the entire time. Plus it's good Rihanna didn't engage in the abuse thing. The video is amazing. Megan and Dom were amazing, the were believeable, and Dom is one lucky ass Hobbit! I'm glad they did the video for this song right.

  64. 64

If you have been thre, done that and bought the t shirt you really know what it's all about and it's very truthful and very scary

  65. 65

how do you not like the message and lyrics? it's supposed to be about how toxic abusive relationships are until you finally break the cycle and leave that person. do you actually think Rihanna would contribute to a song that was glorifying them? and eminem obviously has a past of domestic violence but he's trying to show how he's learned from it and expose the mentality behind what happens, not condone it. this should all be obvious….

  66. 66

The lyrics are very real. Unless you have been in the situation, you will never understand just how hard it is to get out.

  67. 67

Re: PinkyTuscadero – According to the Justice Department, 41% of intimate and familial murders were committed by women. And when a woman kills a man, she will almost always get a much lighter sentence and even less likely to be convicted. Also, men are much more likely to be victims of violent crime and murder in general, but all we hear about is violence against women. The victim industrial complex (women's groups and feminists) want you to believe that only women can be victims.

  68. 68

    feminem sucks!

  69. 69

I would have loved this more if rihanna wasn't in it… Megan Fox rocks though and Dominic is always awesome…. Great video… but Em, you could have picked somebody else to collaborate with on that song… I just don't like rihanna, so overrated….This video said like it is…. I'm pretty certain rihanna was also abusive in her relationship with Chris and he probably had enough one day and did what he did, not that it justified his behavior but sometimes enough is enough…

  70. 70

Rihanna seems never to get away from that domestic violence…step away girl!

  71. 71

"If she ever tries to fucking leave again, Imma tie her to the bed and set this house on fire" Oh my goodness :/

  72. 72

that very unfunctional. its very good -filimg wise but it sends a bad message of domestic abuse…. and rihannah's singing? ironic.

  73. 73

I dont think he's glorifying domestic violence…I think he's merely trying to point out the obsessive cycle that traps two people in a unhealthy relationship.

And both eminem and rihanna have been in domestic violence relationships. I highly doubt that the video is generalizing domestic violence as a whole. I simply thinks its his interpretation based on his experience.

  74. Paty says – reply to this

    I expected more….kinda lame…..

  75. 75

Just caught this on MTV. Still in shock over a music video actually being on MTV o.o

  76. 76

Also, Idk did anyone else feel that Rhianna was lacking emotion? :/

  77. 77

    i hate it alot

  78. Genn says – reply to this

MEGAN AND DOMINIC? SO RANDOM. But yet…so hot.

  79. 79

In that freeze of the video she looks exactly like New York. (Tiffany Polard)

  80. 80

Just watched the video. It was amazing. I didn't like Rihanna in it though, she was trying too hard with all the faces and running her hand all on her face. She just looked like she was trying to be sexy and that's not what the video is about. Its hella emotional. Brilliant. Strangely I'm not a fan of Megan Fox but she did a good job in this video, a real good job and Dominic too. For the first few seconds of the vid I thought Dominic was Eminem. x) Great video.

  81. 81

Rihanna is starting to look like NeNe!! Get rid of the short red hair!! Take a clue from Megan Fox who is gorgeous long hair. Why is Rihanna always looking angry in all of her videos?? Love the song though!

  82. 82

Speaking as someone coming from an abusive relationship, this song really touches a nerve… I love it

  83. 83

This left me feeling bored. It could've been so much more powerful but it wasn't. I was expecting more to be honest :/
Love Em, Riri, Megan and Dom tho

  84. 84

I think Megan is the only human bieng that looks sexy spittin' lol

BTW she does look like a great kisser. :-P

  85. 85

  86. 86

What a great video! Best video I have seen in years!!
Such great work from everyone involved! My favorite is Dom, awesome! I am such a fan of him and he did an amazing apperance in this video. We want to see more of him!

  87. 87

You hate the message but love the song? That makes no sense Mary-O. You're just terrified that if you say something bad about Feminem that he will beat your fat ass just like William.

  88. 88

    Dom rules!

  89. 89

Perez how is it you can't like or appreciate a message that is bringing awareness to domestic violence? I think its a strong message and brave of Rihanna to stand up and be one to bring the message. Get your head out of your ass dear.

  90. 90

Re: Christine528 – It may not glorify addictive relationships to someone mature enough to understand the irony of the video, but by putting it out there by famous people, the song make it seem "normal" to experience this; youth will interpret it in a glorified way.

  91. n3lky says – reply to this

  92. 92

Re: Rosemonde Fetiere – He picked Rihanna because her situation has been so public. Even after Ike turner..i mean Chris brown beat the shit out of her she went back to him. Which pretty much displayed what the entire song is about. If you don't get that then you're blind. No one else could have really done this except for her. Eminem said that if he was going to record this song he wanted rhianna to do it end of story.

  93. 93

Re: Sid Dithers – you are an idiot. Even if she slapped him, even if she kicked him, spit in his face w/e that doesn't give him the RIGHT to hit her or BEAT her like he did. Just like if he had thrown her against a wall it would give her the right to take a knife out and stab him. Did you see her face? If you can even compare or try to rationalize something like by making it seem like she had it coming or that she "started it" so that makes what he did okay then you're probably somone who fucking beats on people yourself and you're simply trying to rationalize your throught process. Either that or you're simply really fucking stupid.

  94. 94

Re: jerkstore – and what….the other 60% are committed by fairies?

  95. 95

What do you mean you hate it's message and lyrics? Do you not get the message, Mario? Are the only kind of lyrics you understand the ra ra ooh la la kind? Come on, you cannot be that dense, can you? Oh, wait…..

  96. 96

This song is about two "artists" who think way too highly of themselves, attempting to be "deep" and "philosophical" like a couple of gay ass fucking goth kids. After reading some comments from people who said they were in abusive relationships and this song made them cry, I decided to give it a fair chance and listen to the lyrics. What a joke!! This song is fucking GHEY, and in no way captures the isidiousness of a true abusive relationship. Rather it's two fucktards with bad tempers who are addicted to toxic bullshit. I've been a victim of an abuser and trust me, it's nothing like the gay high school shit this craphole song depicts. Life ain't no Nintendo game? """Window Pane"""? GAY!! Way to ruin a topic with great potential, douchebags…

  97. 97

    What do I think?

Perez you say, "We still hate its message and the lyrics, but we love the song and we love the video too!"

The purpose of the construction of the melody and the rest of the body a song is to make the message most appealing to the listener as possible. Here are part of the message being conveyed while you are listening to the song:

"If she ever tries to fucking leave me again/I'mma TIE HER TO THE BED AND SET THE HOUSE ON FIRE!"

"Just gonna stand there And watch me burn/But that's alright
Because I like The way it hurts/Just gonna stand there And hear me cry/But that's alright Because I love The way you lie."

This is the kind of message you support, Perez? Emotionally, physically abusive relationships and women are supposed to like it. Shall we go into the message the video is conveying as well? I think it speaks for itself. Shame on you!

You speak of governments enacting legislation of hate, yet you support programming people to accept hatred of women and abusive relationships and people who depict themselves refusing to control their flawed thinking and rage.

    Your hypocrisy astounds me!

  98. 98

Re: apillon – Anyone who claims to have been in an abusive relationship and says they identify with this song is full of it. An abusive relationship involves an abuser and a victim, not two trailer trash losers beating on each other. In a real abusive relationship you'd be too beat down and scared shitless to lay a hand on the guy. So stuff it

  99. 99

I love the vid!!! Amazing. Rihanna's close ups BOTHER me big time though. And that red-ish hair is god awful. But everything else is perfect. idk, I just don't like Rihanna these days.

  100. 100

Re: Sid Dithers – Amen - what Chris Brown did is disgusting, but she's just as disgusting for attacking him, and it's bullshit to paint her as the innocent victim.
