Robbie Williams Makes Fiance Sign A Prenup

Robbie Williams is set to marry his fiance Ayda Field in a very small and secret wedding ceremony in Los Angeles this weekend, but Robbie's no fool. He knows he's worth an estimated $120 million and he wants to make sure that in case of a divorce, Ayda doesn't wipe him clean.

The two visited lawyers this past month to work out a pre-nuptial agreement - and with Robbie being the 28th wealthiest person on this year's Sunday Times Music Rich List, we're sure he has a lot of assets to protect.

Robbie owns properties in Los Angeles and England, as well as having several luxury cars, and a yacht!

So yeah, a prenup is obvious. We just hope that the happy couple never has to use it!

Please, OF COURSE they're going to use it. It's Robbie Womanizer/Junkie Williams we're talking abut. Plus she doesn't strike me as a nun either so…it's not a matter of if it's when.

    Smart man.

if this guy is straight I will eat my keyboard

Prenups are a sign of the sad times we live in. If you have to 'protect' your assets from the person you chose to spend the rest of your life with then i suggest you ask yourself why you want to marry that person to begin with.
Of course you're gonna get the jealous bitches (male and female alike) who are going to call her a 'goldigger'.
Somehow , noone called Guy Richie a goldigger for marrying Madonna and taking a huge chunk of HER money, noone called Nick …something a goldigger when he took Jessica Simpson's money since she's far wealthier than him.
Why do you always have to bitch about women? So what if the girl doesn't have as much money as the guy ? It's like saying that he doesn't deserve to be loved but used instead.
    Anyway …
PS. I thought Robbie was gay .

Re: ladynTO – …he has a gayer face than Derek Hough…why isn't that mentioned…I hate this junkie….well at least she will get his money when he overdoses…..

Now that gay marriage is back on in Cali he may bolt on her at the last minute!

  7. 7

frankly, every couple should have a pre-nup even if they don't have a lot of money or there isn't an inequitable distribution of wealth prior to the marriage.

  8. 8

What a douche. This guy is as gay as the day is long.

Signing a prenup is a smart move, whether it's for the man or the woman who has the money.
    -
People make mistakes in choosing a life partner.
It's no reason to have to lose everything they've worked for.
    -
Go talk to Paul McCartney to see what he has to say about the validity of signing a prenup.

    Re: Diva-Babe – That's not to his credit …
Of course if it was a woman, you'd be calling her a whore because you're just a jealous little girl.

  16. 16

this guy is like professional soccer….americans just don't want em

  17. 17

    oh, they'll use it

if my fiance asked me to sign a pre nup i would cancel my wedding.
to think about what would happen when you get a divorce when you havent even said 'i do' yet is just crap.. you dont go into marriage already planning on the divorce
plus it would show me that my partner doesnt trust me
    never marry someone like that

  19. 19

I feel sorry for this guy. He looks like you, Perez, in this picture.

  20. 20

    it's being realistic. people change.

  21. 21

    i officially have no gaydar.

  22. 22

WE THOUGHT THIS MAN WAS GAY !!! - PROVEN WAY TO STAY IN THE CLOSET - GET MARRIED -

    23

Well put Kezie, and I completely agree. If someone who is supposedly marrying you in a love match has those sort of doubts the marriage stands almost no chance of lasting. I'd feel incredibly insulted if someone thought I would take their money like that. If my fiancee hadn't figured out that I'd do the right thing by him in the case of divorce then I'd consider him a waste of my time, and move on to a more perceptive man!

That said, for marriages of convenience it makes absolute sense. I guess it depends of what you want out of life.

Doesn't she know that he's gay? Duh!!!!

  25. 25

Granted Robbie usually has a corny look on his face in photos, but no, he is not gay. The pre-nup is practical considering his fortune. No one gets married with the thought of being divorced, but half end up that way. Considering the long list of women he's dated over the past 15 years, he chose her and she's confident in their relationship. I wish them luck and happiness.

I don't realize how many angry, bitter, hating people there are in this world until I read news stories and see the nasty comments left on all these sites. Quite sad.

    Re: Lisa Talenti

Amen. I am sure he hopes it will last but bottom line she is the one with the lesser career. And if they do divorce why should she be able to take part of his fortune that he mostly made BEFORE they were married. A prenup is just necessary. I wouldn't think twice about signing one…
