      JAnelle is the most AMAZING and creative artist out there nowadays, she is truly genius and passionate and talented, I have discovered her just recently, sadly in todays music industry you dont make it SUPER big when you THAT talented, no you have to lame stupid meaningless songs and show odd your booty. JAnelle this video is totally amazing, so simple, so vulnerable, so true, it allows you to focus on the song and the beautiful lyrics, i love Janelle and she si the perfect example of hope, the youth like me NEEDED

      I ACTUALLY NEVER HEARD OR SEEN JANELLE 'TILL THE BET AWARDS WHEN SHE PERFORMED A PRINCE SONG && WOW I THOUGHT SHE WAS INCREDIBLE!

      - This is nothing like the Sinead O'Connor sing from the 80s. Really? Completely different message and vibe and without the sad tears and white background.

      - She has a great voice, but I couldn't help feeling like she reminded me of Beyonce too much.

      I love Janelle Monae I actually discovered her once when I fell asleep watching TV and caught her vid for "Many Moons" and woke the fukk up cuz it was amazing.

      Beauty, talent and chick can do the James Brown AND Moonwalk like Michael. It pisses me off that while people like BeYawnce, Rihanna, Xtina and Britney are focusing on selling sex and showing ass to get attention for what has become simple and repetitive music, the media and young fools fall for it hook line and sinker. Janelle doesn't need to do that to get noticed. I'm a fan!

      Easily the best song of 2010 already! Janelle writes and sings with a burning passion, rarely seen in an artist. There's so much heart and soul. She has that Outkast and Gnarls Barkley vibe to her. Where she really goes for it. She kicks your ass and makes a statement, all while crafting a beautiful classic song. This is what separates Janelle from the Kesha's and Katy Perry's of the world.

      I wanted to love her, but I wasn't blown away by her album like the critics and some online reviewers were. Good album–just didn't wow me. She's weird as shit, though, which is a good and refreshing thing, which you don't see much in today's music.
