The American Idol champ has been caught in a sex, lies, and videotape scandal and is being accused of having an affair with a married man.
The man's wife names Fantasia as her husband's mistress in a lawsuit that was filed earlier this week. Paula Cook accuses her husband, Antwuan Cook, of having an affair and making a sex tape with Fantasia. In the documents, she writes, "Husband and Ms. Barrino have at times recorded their illicit sexual activity." Cook is now seeking custody of their children.
Normally, Fantasia wouldn't have to be held responsible, however, North Carolina is one of the seven states where a "home wrecker has something to worry about."
The documents also recall Fantasia leaving a message for Mrs. Cook in which she said, "He don’t want you. Maybe the next time that you get a husband you'll know how to keep him. That's why he is here with me."
Baez says, "Seems like she would have been much better off, especially, she has money right? She wants to protect her money, say 'look I’m interested in a relationship, why don’t you get a divorce and let's talk later.'"
Watch the clip (above) to see Fantasia talk about her "perfect man," as well as pictures of her proudly-displayed tattoo that says "Cook" on her front shoulder.
While Fantasia isn't being sued (yet), she could possibly be on the hook for millions.
Tsk, tsk, Fantasia. You should know better than to get with a married man!
