Idol Bosses Getting Desperate!
It seems that American Idol execs were so desperate to get decent judges that they didn't even test them out together.
Jennifer Lopez and Steven Tyler will act as the new judges, but no one knows if they have chemistry with Randy Jackson or each other.
"It's ridiculous not to road test these people before committing … it's insane," claims a source.
But no one is freaking out just yet! Supposedly, Lopez and Tyler and not officially signed and auditions with the judges are still a month away.
Considering executive producer Nigel Lythgoe had Simon and Randy go to a strip club together before filming the first season, we're sure they'll figure out a way to bond.
But it better be something new! We don't think Jenny from the Block would tolerate that shiz.

i was against perez at first, but looking at this snoozefest, I think it would actually be a good idea to put perez on the panel. Without someone snarky, it doesn't work. I could see j-lo, perez and randy totally.
Tyler would know talent, but I doubt he has his finger on the pulse of what kids are wont to buy these days. I can't even figure it out. J-Lo - even less. It doesn't really matter, as the show is probably moving into its last hurrah. Maybe Tyler will mean more rock, less pop, and for me, that's always good. Metal Idol. Lol.

I can see J. Lopez as a judge, but Steven Tyler? Why? Why? It makes no sense………………….Harry Connick, Jr. would have been the wise choice.
This may be the last year for idol, with these choices……too sad.
