      she sounded awful. she ALWAYS sounds awful. her songs sound okay on the radio and on albums because they are studio enhanced. live in concert it becomes clear that she is an entertainer.. NOT a singer. and even as an entertainer, um… is anyone really all that entertained?

      I think the sound system was HORRIBLE at the Teen Choice Awards. Jason Derulo sounded awful as well… and I know BOTH katy and jason can sing their asses off live. The sound system made them sound very sharp and out of breath…

      It wasn't that bad. On second viewing, I noticed that she did hit most of her notes on pitch. Her tone is unique and that's what makes her sound good. She needs to learn to be more engaging and actually perform the song.

      Am I the only one thats listened to the lyrics f this song?? I Love it! However considering the age group this particular award show is geared towards… I thought it a bit inappropriate. Talking about touching in skin tight jeans…. going "ALL THE WAY WITH NO REGRETS"….. Gettin drunk on the beach ect…. Making a floor of sheets in a motel??? again I love the song but with 10years olds up threw 16 years old mainly watching this I was a little upset that they chose this song to preform. I get the whole " Teenage dream" teen choice awards hootsee cutsee thing hey where tryna do but Really come on Im sure they could have come up with something better and more appropriate to shove down our kids throats… Im not a prude at all But our kids are growing up too fast as it is!!!! Bad form Teen choice awards!!

      Re: giveityourall7 – It did sound like the sound system sucked, but even that wouldn't make her incapable of hitting almost every note. Seriously, that was bad. And jason derulo also sounded bad, but again I don't think that was the fault of the sound system, because when bruno mars sang, he sounded so much better than those two.
