Leo Makes Bank From Inception!

Serious bank!
Leonardo DiCaprio will make at least $50 million from his film Inception, simply for agreeing to take a paycut before starting the film and having the rest of his salary come off the top of ticket sales.
Inception is expected to make $750 million by the time it's completed its box office run and that's not counting potential DVD and television sales.
Smart move, Leo!

Good for him! Generally, I am really annoyed with how much money some actors make, but I think in this case Leo really deserved it. He put his faith in the production by taking a pay cut up front. I think that shows integrity, as well as good business sense. This really could have backfired on him, Inception was a fairly complex film and we live in a world where Twilight exists and viewers are sometimes oblivious to quality entertainment. I think the film had the potential to go over the heads of the audience. But Leo put is faith in Nolan and the crew and it turned out great 4 every1! I think this film might open up the door for more mainstream intellectual, adult films.
This may be the start of a positive new trend. If ALL stars were signed to contracts where they got paid based on box office receipts, then don't you think they'd be a lot more picky about the roles they chose? It might cut down on the parade of shittastic movies we have to suffer. Seriously, was this not a terrible summer movie season? Magruber, Cop Out, Sex and the City 2, Prince of Persia. I could go on all day.
I have no problem with Leo making that kind of change. Inception was a quality movie. I know the people who couldn't figure out the plot didn't like it. But these are the same people who can't figure out microwave popcorn.
Best movie this year. Good move Leo.
It's been along time since I've seen a smart ,well written movie like this… GREAT ACTORS…CAN"T WAIT FOR INCEPTION 2…I HOPE IT"S AS GOOD AS THE FIRST!!!
Damn smart move Leo, damn smart move. Maybe others will follow suite, way to set the bar!
Don't even start with "Inception 2" rumors. It took Chris Nolan 10 years to perfect this movie and he is not the kind of guy who would throw together some cheap sequel. In fact it's sequels and remakes that are ruining the quality of movies. Very few people can create what Nolan has so the big studios recycle the same crap over and over just with different actors. We need to demand better scripts, better production and with hold out for quality movies. Otherwise this recycling will never end.
DAAAAAUM !!! Way to go Leo, it is a whole new game for big name actors from now on. Geez… how much money can these people make ???
