Quote Of The Day

"The kids couldn't handle it, my wife couldn't handle it - she had colon cancer. On the one hand it was phenomenal, on the other hand I had to watch my family [suffer]. But we invented a new form of television. We started the ball rolling for all these fucking new shows now. Would we do it again? I dunno. I don't think so."

- Ozzy Osbourne on his former MTV reality show

Sorry, it was Anna Nicole Smith who got that ball rolling. But you guys certainly helped!

the daughter is a pig. and you are right it was anna nicole smith who started reality shows, not this drug addict

  3. 3

WHY ARE THESE TWO PIGLETS ALWAYS THE ONES ON THE SPOTLIGHT?

  4. 4

  5. 5

  6. 6

Kelly Osbourne is a disgusting pig!

  7. 7

    What a very SICK family…

  9. 9

    THE OSBOURNES ROCK!!!

What are the first two fucking idiots on about. The Osbournes has their show first. I think they regret it just on the level that two thirds of television is either reality or documentary based television, which does really suck.

    hindsight's 20/20…………

Love this family. They are good, decent people. Jack and Kelly have done a great job of getting in shape. That takes loads of self-discipline. I wish the entire family nothing but happiness.

  13. 13

The entire family has spent millions to be nipped/tucked/plucked/rolled/pressed/cut/snipped and they look like they they need millions more spent.

Although I admire him for thinking of his family first and leaving the show, I wouldn't brag about creating this stupid reality trend that has killed television over the last decade or so.

  15. 15

Anna Nicole Smith was after The Osbournes. The Osbournes was the first celebrity reality show. And the best.

Re: dough69 – nope, anna nicole didnt air until almost six months after the osbourne's

The fact that it WAS a double edged sword (the colon cancer was an oh, gawd, no heart wrencher!) is a big part of what gave it it's charm and pull for me as a viewer. The flip side of it was the surprising anti-bat biting and refreshing impression it left (re) because of the family's raw honesty and obvious affection for one another that opened doors for a multitude of Osbourne financial opportunities. Baring it all gave many insight and empathy for the family and thus they privately root for them. Maybe people don't have enough friends, who knows.

Love the Osbournes! Their show was the first thing I watched on MTV on a regular basis after years of not watching. And it was the only thing I watched. Compared to the dysfunctional Lohans and media whore Kardashians, the Osbournes are pretty normal. At least they are famous for a good reason and genuinely love and care about each other.
