Rapper T.I. is hoping to transition from a rapping career to a prestigious acting career in Hollywood, even hoping to get an Oscar before he's 40!

29-year-old T.I. says, "I want to have an Oscar by then (40). I want to have made my mark in film as a producer and actor by the time I'm Jay's or Eminem's age."

Pretty ambitious goal!

so far hes a decent actor. why couldnt he get one? he has 10 years to do it. seems pretty realistic IMO. hes just gotta find the right roles.

ABSOLUTELY!! He'll need to watch what Genre he chooses as his focus, if any, but ya, I think he could do it! You don't come from where he has come from without some skills that are very applicable to story-telling. It's just all story-telling at the end of the day, and the one who keeps us coming back for more, wins! I hope he does!

I don't know who this kid is but when some pro-golfer's whores, a Sarah Palin or idiots like the Jersey Shore "cast" can become "celebrities" and "stars" I'm sure this kid can get that now worthless statue.

Why not just make a ton of 'em and just hand 'em out as part of the seating goodies at that passe awards show. Then everybody there can be a "winner".

But he looks GOOD in suit there …definitely …it "suits" him..hehe

Yeah…about acting: speak less, just do it ! When (and if) u got an Oscar, we´ll know it…don´t worry, we are not gonna miss it….But don´t proclaim it before the actual happening cause the risk then that it will never (NEEVER) happen .It´s almost like a natural law.
