MySpace Getting A Makeover!

And they need it!

Although it probably won't make them relevant again, MySpace is revamping its home page to be more like Facebook.

It will simplify its homepage to make room for a larger news feed. The feed will give status updates and highlight shared content. They are also consolidating games, events and the "people you may know" section.

The networking sight is hoping to get the 13 to 34-year-olds using the site. MySpace President Mike Jones added these recent changes are preparing users for a big overhaul in the fall, "so as we turn on the full relaunch it's not a shock to the system."

Does anyone even sign on anymore?! Lots of luck!

I was a huge myspacer back in 2005 and now I barely open up my account. It's become littered with spam, pop-ups and a stupid ASK JEEVES bar that runs across the screen and covers everything up. Not only that, the pictures and videos take forever to load. I go on there just to look up some of my favorite bands b/c it was initially meant to be a place for musicians to showcase their work, but it sucks balls these days.

Myspace is just a site for crappy bands to try to promote themselves….apparently to other crappy bands since I don't know anyone who uses it anymore EXCEPT bands. It's annoying to have 50 comments about "my band is playing Aug 30th!". Myspace had its moment, now it sucks

Most MySpace webpages looks like those 90s badly designed tripod pages which was popular 10 years ago. Ugly colors and badly designed wall papers etc. Hope it disappears. Won't be missed.

And if Mr. Perez Mario Hilton keeps on with his vindictive,
foolish, bitchy, mean-spirited gossip and personal attacks
and highly opinionated garbage he will not be revelant
for much longer either as people will tire of his website -
and the sooner the better. Reporting gossip is quite
one thing but being nasty and mean is uncalled for and
has become boring, boring, boring.

The Old myspace was a lot better
The new one is confusing and it lags.
