Piers Morgan IS Taking Over For Larry King

After reports that Piers Morgan would no longer be filling in for Larry King upon his retirement, a source close to the America's Got Talent judge added that these rumors are "dead wrong."

The official announcement is expected next week at the latest. Morgan is currently finishing up the paperwork, so it's basically a done deal.

He'll make a way better host than softballer Larry King, hes not afraid to ask the tough questions. Will make for better tv. I may even start watching cnn again.

Piers Morgan might fill in the vacant spot of the show..but he will never ever ever replace the great Larry King..Larry has a natural likeability..no matter what question he asks..you cannot stop from liking him..because for some reason you get a sense of true interest. I have watched him do so many interviews with so many people..from rapstars to presidents to convicts…And never once has he irritated the hell out of me. Piers's ego however..has grown outside of himself ..he might be a good journalist..but he is no Larry King. He will not make it longer then one season…just mark my words!
