Dr. Douche Apologizes For Using The N-Word

| Filed under: Icky Icky Poo

UGH! How is this sad excuse for a human being still on the air??

Dr. Douche aka Dr. Laura Schlessinger has apologized after using the N-word eleven times in the span of five minutes during an on-air conversation with a caller.

Earlier this week, Dr. Laura spoke with an African-American caller on the air and told her she was being too sensitive when complaining about her white husband's friends making racist comments. Dr. Laura continued to use the N-word several times to make a "philosophical point" adding that “black guys say it all the time."

When the caller objected and commented that the word was offensive, Dr. Evil continued to tell the caller, saying, "Oh, then I guess you don't watch HBO or listen to any black comedians." And to dig herself an even bigger grave, after the call ended, Schlessinger said that the woman shouldn’t have entered in an interracial marriage if she was so “hypersensitive about color and [didn't] have a sense of humor.”

While at this point, it doesn't even matter, Dr. Laura has issued an apology:

"Yesterday, I did the wrong thing. I didn't intend to hurt people, but I did. And that makes it the wrong thing to have done. I was attempting to make a philosophical point, and I articulated the 'n' word all the way out — more than one time. And that was wrong. I'll say it again — that was wrong."

She also says, she "was so upset [by the conversation with the caller that she] could not finish the show,” explaining, "I pulled myself off the air at the end of the hour … I am very sorry. And it just won't happen again."

Too little, too late!!

Eleven times in the span of five minutes ? It's not like she can say, oh it just slipped out, she likely uses the word daily. Stupid racist bitch.

  2. 2

Have you ever noticed that there is only a problem when someone uses the N word when they are white? I do get her point…we hear it on tv, music, the black community and it sometimes used as endearment in the black community. BTW I am black. Until we as people can stop using N word ourselves we can't sit in judgement when someone who else does. Yes its wrong! Yes its not right! I guarantee that if it had not been Dr. Laura and lets say Whoopi it would have been picked up as so controversial.

  3. 3

The same people who support this woman are the same people who scream and yell about this country losing its moral compass.

  4. 4

the "Dr." is an asshole, but she does make some valid points.

  5. 5

I want to know why this woman would call Dr. Laura in the first place. And she does have a right to be pissed if her husband's friends are assholes and say racist things about her so I am not even sure why saying the n word 11 times was necessary– to prove the point that it makes you sound like a racist asshole?

  6. 6

I hear that word everywhere! and I wonder why black people get offended when someone else uses it. I mean yeah it is offensive but if it was very "offensive" why not stop using it with one another. I'm listening to TI and he's using it.
I called one of my friends that one time and saw his expression after and I told him, you claim to be but when I called you that you get upset?
He later told me I was right. But just because I'm not his race I can't use it?
Sorry but my opinion is No one should use it.

  7. 7

P - that news has been on MSN for hours….

  8. 8

Our daughter who is 17 told us: Mom and Dad if I wanted to get back at u with my life I'd bring home a black dykie lesbian as my lover….I quickly added and "uneducated" and my husband didn't miss a beat and said and a "jew who has converted to muslim." that's it…there are all our racisms combined. ones we are dealing with everyday like most people and ones that our children no better to not inherit from us yet they know we are just two people who happen to be their parents trying to move forward and self love and love everyone, yet she also made a fabulous point that she could choose someone to get back at us thus not really live her life from her heart…i wonder how many marriages are joined via unprocessed stuff so perhaps the african american/white marriage falls into this category a little yet the husband not defending his wife is the problem here too and falls more in the archetype and advantage of being male. anyway, we use humor to evolve. i think dr. laura lost it and made amends but i think she had some valid points.

  9. 9

For being so educated, she sure acted like a Dumb Bitch!

  10. 10

Fuck issuing an apology. WHY should she? It's just a fuckn' word. People need to get over it already. I'm a gay male, and a latino…I've had the pleasure to be called a few words here and there and, you know what, that has no effect on me. A word is just a word. It's how you treat others what really makes a difference. And more than any other group, blacks do LOVE pulling out their race cards whenever it is convenient. Grow the fck up! The Dr. Laura made a GREAT point…they love their rap and Def Comedy Jam crap…it's all FLOODED with free use of the word but it's all fine and dandy then. Such hypocrites! Grow a thicker hide, motherfkers!!

  11. 11

Isn't this that whore who pretty much puts all blame on women for all relationship problems?

  12. 'tude says – reply to this

wtf?! my boyfriend is black…i'm white. he works in education. neither of us like the "n" word. he tries to discourage the black students from using it….pretty much to no avail. unfortunately, i think it's a generational thing. i don't know what dr. laura's issue is, but it sounds like racism to me. unlike the youth today (boy i sound old), she's old enough to appreciate what the civil rights movement was about. to use that word so many times to make a "philosophical point"…sounds like b*llshit to me. it's a shame she still has a job. guess that says a lot about her audience.

  13. 13

    Re: Andy27 – AGREED!!! THANKYOU!

  14. 14

This woman has been a hypocrite for the better part of her career - I din't even think she was on the air anymore - I know it's easy to pick on someone like this but she truly is a hate filled broadcaster that could never live by her own rule's- pull her off the air - they pulled Imus off the air for much less

  15. annam says – reply to this

Enough of her hateful, bitchy crap!!! She is a shock jock, plain and simple!! There are far more qualified doctors with intelligence and compassion who should be filling her airspace. However, the morons of the world listen to Dr. Douche for the dramatic crap she spews out like this. For that reason, she will continue to make big bucks. Barrrrrf!!!!

  16. 16

she can say whatever she wants, free country, you know.

She is not worse than you and your site.

  17. 17

    Too little, too late

What? Does she have to commit suicide to show she's sorry.

(By the way she shouldn't be sorry.)

  18. 18

Doesn't she know that she has to go to racism rehab and seek absolution from Al Sharpton and/or Jesse Jackson? Get with the program, Laura.

  19. 19

What a shame, I actually like Dr. Laura a lot, I will have to listen to the broadcast myself prior to leaving a comment. I hope for the best but thanks for bringing this to the light!

    Cake much?

  20. 20

I can't believe how rude she was to the caller who just called to ask her how to handle her white husbands friends and their lack of sensitivity towards her race and Dr. Laura flips out like a mad woman telling her she is "too senstive"!!!!!! WTF??? Actuallym everyone should stop using the N word, and that means EVERYONE!!!

  21. 21

so.. it's ok for people of a certain skin colour to talk like this - but not those of a DIFFERENT skin colour.. i think there's a word for that.. racism

  22. 22

    fucking jew

  23. 23

I do think it's a bit confusing that black people constantly use the n-word, in raps, stand up comedy routines, when referring to a friend etc etc but when a white person uses it all hell breaks loose. If it's such a bad word, than stop using it altogether! Or stop making a big deal out of it when ppl of another race use the word.

  24. 24

Dr. Laura Shitslinger is a good example of how "therapists" can be more fucked up than the people they counsel. It's a scary prospect when someone as broken as she is tries to fix others. It's always been clear that she has issues, and they just seem too compound the older she gets. I hope this leads to her retreat. Society doesn't need her brand of help.

  25. 25

Well, she's right. Do we get upset when we're called "cracker" or "honky"? If we do we'd see Al or Jesse emerge and take over the whole thing! She's RIGHT! If black people can call each other that then NO ONE should be held "racist" when they use it. I get so TIRED of hearing race this, race that! It's so stupid really. Either black people can stop using it or grow a pair and accept when a white person does. I worked with a great group of folks, mostly all black, and they were my friends. I once said "hey, hold up boys!" while I caught up on the job. There was no offense intended at all! One of them told me to watch it that "boy" was a racist word. It's a racist word if you make it one, and no one will let it die because folks whine and whine. Is it a hate crime if I got into a fight with a black man or a gay person? You bet it can be! No matter what started it or what it was about. I'm glad to see someone with a few listeners get the guts to prove her point even though, in my opinion, I feel she was made to apologize as is EVERYONE who says something a few people don't like.

  26. 26

Re: Celiacubeforum – Well done for saying this. God only knows why the word seems to be kept front and centre amongst many in the black community. When it comes to the use of the n word it can't be one rule for blacks and one for whites. Wasn't that how all the hating started in the first place?

  27. 27

HAHAHA… omgosh I was just thinking about Dr. Laura Schlessinger!! yah, she's morally and philosophically tight to ALL of her callers. You know it too. The only thing she did was slightly wrong was apologize for anything more than upsetting some people who dont have cable. It is a wack word and I dont think I would ever say it because why, but sticks n effin stones. it shouldnt be a word. its almost like picking at a healing wound WHENEVER its said. The caller obviously said it. LA silliness..

  28. 28

She shouldn't have used the N-word at all..no one should including African americans..but she has a point, that woman shouldnt have entered into an interracial marriage if she was sensitive of color and what people might think.

  29. 29

The only apology here was that she knows it's in bad taste. She's not sorry she said it, she's sorry to think she might have some repercussions.

Oh wait, she's a conservative tool. There ARE no repercussions (see Ensign, John).

  30. 30

    the world is a rainbow

  31. 31

she made a good point its a bad word either way she was wrong to go one with it but I think as humans we make mistakes. Am I right? I mean we all can't be as perfect as Perez here but anyways she is a good person and she gives honest advice which is hurtful at times and at least she was a big person to admit she was wrong. And I am 100% against prop 8 @bodacious and I do think America is losing its morals but that has nothing to do with being conservative. Its just true there are alot of fucked up people out there.

  32. 32

I totally agree with her. she should not have appologized

  33. rev3 says – reply to this

we all know what she meant and it's true.

hate the n word but love dr. laura cause she calls it like it is, which can get you in trouble socially.

  34. junk says – reply to this

    Re: Andy27 – I agree with you.

  35. 35

Just never use the n word or don't even worry about it. It's just a word. I think it is hypocritical that African Americans can use it and others can't. The best thing is to not use it and just let the African Americans have their word. There is no point in arguing about it.

  36. 36

And she's supposed to be a doctor and help out people. I'm really disappointed.

  37. 37

    Re: Bodacious HAHA

    I absolutely agree

  38. 38

  39. 39

I get her larger point, but I don't think white people (and I am one) should use that word. It hurts people too much and do we really need to emulate other races in regards to our own behaviour?

  40. 40

First of all, the only way to ever deal with other peoples stupidity (her husband's idiot friends comments) is to know in your own head, fighting or resiting other peoples ignorance makes you idiotic by association. Use your energy for something worthwhile, don't bring yourself to their level, they will have won.
Secondly, Dr. Laura just said what everyone thinks, but doesn't say because this sort of hostile reaction that follows. You know the saying, do as I say, not as I do? Who has ever agreed that is an intelligent (or effective) way to get others to do what you wish them to do? A community will never get the respect it is requesting, if they do not follow the same rules. Lead by example. You didn't see Gandhi or Mandela preaching one doctrine then following another, now did you?

  41. 41

She wrote that book on feeding and caring for husbands. I just remember some older lady who was a huge fan of that book.

  42. 42

I honestly don't think that anyone should use that word. It's deragatory and humiliating, and just because other people use it doesn't mean that someone who claims to be a professional should be using it, especially on radio, and especially so frequently in such a short span of time. That would be like a business man or woman swearing throughout a meeting because they are trying to make a "philisophical point" since people swear on the street! Also, to say to a poor lady who needs guidance that she should just "man up" and should not be in an interracial relationship to begin with is insensitive in the extreme, and sick. I feel sorry for that lady…I hope she can get the support she needs and deserves elsewhere.

  43. 43

She's not entirely wrong you know!!
She had some valid points but took it way too far.

  44. 44

Re: Andy27 – Thank you! You have said it better than I could! ;)

  45. 45

I hate that word… but black people say it all the time!
You will never hear that word come from my mouth, but she had no reason to apoligize!

  46. 46

Dr. Laura is missing the point when she was arguing with the caller first she is assuming that all black people have no problem with the use of the N-word. She assumes that these people watch def comedy jam and listen to rap music. She assumes that these people would not also speak up against their own race for using the N-word. There is a lot of assumption in her argument of course there are blacks that don't' care if the N-word is use for either blacks or whites but you can't generalize everybody. There are still those who find the word offence and why do you need to use it? Its not like using the word would help make your point stronger. You only use it to either show affection to your black friends or to insult a black person.

  47. 47

  48. 48

I agree with Dr. Laura! Those who listen to her show know she is firm and direct when making her point. She is a no-nonsense type of woman, and it took alot of courage for her to make such a strong point. Celiacubeforum is also correct! Since she is white, people turn it into such a conspiracy. The issue of the "n" is getting old ten times over.

  49. 49

Isn"t this what happens in bi-racial relationships. So this girls boyfriend is just going along with his friends and obviously not caring about her feelings.

  50. 50

    Re: Mrs. Palin-Carmody – yes! She's awful

  51. 51

  52. 52

    Re: Andy27
    very well said, Andy

  53. 53

She was just making a stong point, oh, I forgot, because she is white, she can't. The word must not be all that bad…it is used by the black rappers, comics, kids in the street.

  54. 54

Who cares about what she has to say? LET'S SEE HER TITS!

  55. 55

Hmph. Not only does try put a point across in a self-righteous way, she tells the woman she is too "sensitive".
    Wow. *smh*

  56. 56

Re: Celiacubeforum – im glad to here a black person say that! good on ya

  57. 57

Re: Lolly Cupcake – you are white!! i am sorry to say this but… your race was cruel at one point and are still with horrible images of what being black is. dont act like you race isnt an issue. Me i am black, and i am always welcomed by white families for dinner and it amazes me that they forget that i am black and make such ignorant comments. Its just that. I cant say this more, I get offended hearing the N word by white people because i feel like they are ignorant adn want to use a word that they started in the first place to make black people feel bad. Now we made it a powerful exclusive word. So boohoo. Trust me i know if you used the N word around rough black people you will get your ass whoop so if you think its cool to use it i suggest try using it with ghetto black people and see if its okay.

  58. 58

Some black people use it towards each other in a positive way, changing the spelling and making it their own. Its like Richie Sombora (or how ever you spell his name) and his 'White Trash' clothing line. Its like turning a negative into a positive and saying,'Hey, you can't break me. You can't hurt me'. But not all black people agree with it or use it. She's talking to this woman like, 'Don't you ALL talk like this anyway?' Um, NO! When a white person says the N word to hurt someone its completely different. White people in the Urban world say it, even calling themselves that. It depends on how you use it. I fucking hate it and don't use it. I'm not American. And I think its just wrong. Her explanation is wrong and fucked up. Tons of people call women bitches, a million times more than the N word is used. Is it okay (since everyone uses it) for me to call a woman a bitch whether she likes it or not? Can I call your dad honey, I mean that's what your mom calls him. Its all about common sense and being appropriate. If you know something's wrong/inappropriate, you don't do/say it because other people do . For a woman who got this far in life for being intelligent, she sure is DUMB.

  59. 59

Dr Laura is mean woman and a freak of nature!

  60. 60

why anyone would listen to this bitch or take her "relationship advice" is beyond me. she has been married multiple times, was estranged from her sister for years, and hadn't talked to her mother for at least 18 yrs. before she died. oh a by the way, her mother had been dead for 2 months before anyone even found her. sounds like she's a real expert on relationships to me. LOL!

  61. 61

Some of her advice is just appalling. A woman phoned up yesterday who was in a terribly unhappy marriage. Her husband was cold and distant and had been for years. They had 3 kids 9, 10 and 12. Dr. Laura said she must stay in the marriage and that she should hug her husband, be sweet no matter what he said and lay the affection on. I almost drove my car into a ditch listening to this woman in tears thanking Dr. Laura for this crap advice.

  62. 62

The most boring thing in the world is to listen to white people complain that they don't get to use the "n" word. "Black people say it all the time!" Well, some do, yes. And alot just don't. Given the history of the word, if some want to use it and remove some of the hateful power of the word, why should I care? I don't need that word. I've never needed it. You know what kind of White person complains about black people getting to use it all the time? The kind of WHITE person who probably already does say it, alone or with their friends.

  63. YUCK says – reply to this

she needs to be fired. this woman is a racist. once, twice forgiveable, but looks like this stupid fucking doctor needs a fucking doctor, she is a rih-tard.

  64. 64

Re: sonicdahedgehog – Seen them. Nothing to write home about. She has nude pics out there. She needs to shave her b*sh.

  65. 65

typical racist Republican bigot they should just admit it.

  66. 66

Re: Andy27 – Hey dumbass I think you should know that years ago she said gays were a biological error!! You still agree with her.

  67. 67

Its pretty clear that only non white people are allowed to use the word, and that non white people can use it as often as they wish. Whatever. So she broke that rule. But it doesnt mean that her overall point wasnt valid. (And if the caller didnt want a Dr. Laura answer, she shouldnt have called Dr. Laura. Period.)

  68. 68

Why are so many of you excusing her behavior by saying that black people use the 'N' word all the time. Perhaps you are referring to comedians, or rappers but I can tell you that many if not most black people do NOT use the word. Why? Because it is so self-hating. If you think you can should use the word because other people are doing it, examine yourself. Aren't you just using that as an excuse to join in on some name-calling? And if you only know about black people from mass media, or hanging out with high-schoolers, your world is waaaaay too small.

  69. 69

Re: Chinwe Okorie – "we made it a powerful exclusive word" Really? The black community trademarketed it? Don't think so. Bye now.

  70. 70

She ought to be taken off the air like Don Imus was. Make it fair.

  71. 71

Scratch a right wing whacko (not even that hard) and find a racist. Every time.

  72. 72

11 Times??? That was not a mistake or bad judgment. That's just how the evil bitch is because if it wasn't in her, it wouldn't have come out so rapidly and easily. They should cancel that bitch

  73. junk says – reply to this

Re: WandaR – I guess it depends where you live because where I live yes theydo use the "N" word a lot.oh except instead of "er" it's just an "a" still the same word to me..they say things like "oh Ima kill that Ni**a" and "whats up "ni**a" I hear it a lot by adults,by my neighbors. I hear it so much and I often think its quite barbaric to call eachother a racial slur esp of your own race..but since its their race they are exempt? I don't think so. I don't go around calling people cracker. It really is how and where they were raised. Not all of them do this but most of them do by me. It's quite common and they are adults. I have a lot of black friends and they call eachother that all the time only to eachother I could never go up to my friend and say "hey whats up Ni****" He'd look at me and think I was out of my mind.

  74. 74

    Re: Andy27 – I agree with u

  75. 75

Kind of like when you said the F word more than once Mario. How soon we forget????

  76. 76

    i get her point

  77. Moron says – reply to this

The most important point got lost in translation…the husband shouldn't hang out with friends who frequently hurt his wife's feelings. What if they called her smart-ass, dorky, sugar, or any other name she felt was insulting TO HER? Would that be all right? Regardless of the fact the word they use is controversial, she doesn't like to be adresses as n**** and that is the most important point. My advice for her would be dump that douche husband of hers, if he doesn't dump his pals. Life is too short to be lost around people who don't respect you.

  78. 78

Didn't we use to have freedom of speech in this country????? Big deal the worlds going to end someone said the n word Who cares.

  79. 79

Re: Moogle80 – i agree with chinwe okorie. i don't think you get it. yes white people (slave owners) came up with that word to be used in the most offensive way possible. They reclaimed that word and basically said 'fuck you racist redneck inbred mf'ers.' they embraced it and by doing so changed the connotations and basically gave the white racists the middle finger. i don't blame them for not wanting white racists usually that word, or white ppl. I think it is good that they took something so negative and changed the meaning of it. And you bitch, moogle80 are a racist bitch. fuck you. and i am white by the way, not that it matters ignorant bitch. :p suck on that!

  80. 80

    Re: Andy27
Although I got her point, I wouldn't be so quick to defend her. She thinks people like you are sexual deviants and biological errors. But of course those are just words, right? I guess it's also safe to say the gay community pulled the gay card as well when they put a shitload of pressure on her when she was saying these words. Perhaps they should have just grown a thicker hide too, those silly hypocrites.

  81. 81

I'm more upset about what she has said about gays: that we cant get married, that we cant be in the military, and that we cant raise children due to our "deviant" lifestyle.

  82. 82

WHY was my post deleted??? That is fucked up.

  83. 83

Why is that chick married to some asshole who has racist friends? She sounds like the real asshole here to me and an even bigger asshole to have to call "Dr" No Brain to ask for advice about it!

  84. 84

Re: Chinwe Okorie – Yeah because ghetto black people are so cool! Yet they whine and cry about their situation in life saying the white man is keeping them down! No homeboy's you are keeping you down! SO keep using your "powerful exclusive" word your trash and always will be trash until you can get with the program!

  85. 85

Re: Chinwe Okorie – By the way you sound pretty fucking racist yourself! So go fuck yourself bitch!

  86. 86

I think it's a loaded word in general. I'm black and very very seldomly ever say, none the less use it casual conversation even with other black people. So some black people use it, but it really is taboo for even us. I've seen guys get thrown out of black establishments for using it.
Dr. Laura has always been a bitch though, I can't believe she has 9 million listeners. And really her advice is really part of the problem. She should have told that caller to tell her husband's friends where the line is, explain to them why what they are saying is off base and disrespectful. That word was used to tear black people down and I'm gonna guess in some way its still tearing down the people who use it. But now, after great strife, it is just a word. The reprecussions are smaller and probably a little more personal then they used to be, but if you don't use it…

  87. 87

dumb bitch. i dont care if youre black, white, asian, chinee, whatever, dont use the n word near me its fucking offensive. i dont give a shit who its coming from.

  88. Corty says – reply to this

Ick, it's just so amazing how uneducated people love to add their opinions on subjects a bit too complex for them to wrap those under-developed brains around. just keeping it real stated that white peopl (slave owners) made up the word to keep the black people down.
First off, slavery has been around much longer then the whites raided Africa. Acient Egyptians and most other ancient cultures and societies around the world have used slaves. Those my dear, are not "white" people. Native African's used each other for slaves. Slavery was never and will never be only a white/black issue. It's an issue of the past to learn from.
If you had the ability to understand what most of the white people are syaing is that the person hearing the word and being offended is lgiving the word power to hurt you. It's like dealing with a bully, if you ignore it long enough they quit because they can no longer control your emotions. It's the same logic with the word, the angier and bigger the fuss is made over it the more others will use it to hurt you. Do you understand now what they mean by giving a word power? Educate yourself.

  89. 89

Re: just keeping it real – Hahaha and you are apparently dumb! I'm racist for NOT agreeing that the N-word is, as she said, an exclusive word only to be used by the black community?! It's a fact! There IS no copyright, there never WAS a meeting where some politicians stated 'from this day forth, the n-word will now be exclusively used by our black community, hear hear!' If an Asian uses it, does he have to pay a fine for breaking a law? No! I have never used it nor will I ever use it, I think it's a vile word no matter who says it. This is not an issue the ENTIRE black community agrees on, I have a couple of Afro-American friends who HATE the fact that rappers use it so often, they don't feel it's empowering at all, no matters who uses it. No one OWNS the word. But I guess you're young and ignorant enough to believe otherwise.

She's a fucking cock-sucking kyke! She probably gets screwed in the ass by Larry King while she's blowing Barney Frank.

Dr. Laura is outspoken, direct, and espouses common sense. In a movie I watched yesterday, black guys used the n-word incessantly. This double standard of blacks being highly offended when someone not black utters this word is whiny and ridiculous, and everyone is sick of this whining.

  92. 92

She may have some very conservative ideas, but she isn't actually a racist. Yes, she was wrong to articulate the word on the air, but she was not calling anybody that word. She was pointing out that you here it in the media constantly, and you can't pick and choose who is going to be offensive when they say it. It can't be accepted in the media but abhorred in real life, or accepted amongst black people but demonized when white people say it. It's all bad or all acceptable, period. And no, she doesn't hate gay people - if anyone had ever listened to her show they would know that. She insists that a two-parent household with a healthy mother and father is best for a child. And guess what? It is! Single parents can be great, gay parents can be great, but healthy Mom & Dad are best. That's her deal, but she is demonized by media people like Perez who hear a 30 second sound bite and believe it. Like the case in question. If you listen to the call and have any intelligence at all you hear that she is trying to make a point about social double-standards, not calling people names.

    She has a point though…

Re: WandaR – I was in an interracial relationship for many years, and the word was in constant use around me. It was as normal as saying hello. I don't think the black community using the word is empowering at all; in fact it is quite degrading to your own race. I was disgusted each and every single time I heard it, and never once was able to get an intelligent explanation for the use of the word. I do not call myself a bitch and call it empowerment. And the gay community calling themselves f**s does not empower them. It simply gives the people who are using it in a derogatory way permission to do so, and makes the community using the word look like they have no pride. If my ex, his friends, and the rest of the black community stopped using it then guess what? So would everybody else, because it would be seen as racist and not socially acceptable.

    Re: Muskratlove
I see a lot of movies where white guys call each other "dude" all the time. That doesn't mean all white guys talk like that. I find it more offensive that Dr. Laura thinks she can base the behaviour of black people from movies and rap videos than I do hearing the "N" word. A lot of black people I know do not use or endorse that word, even with each other.

  96. 96

Did any of you retards listen to what was said - or just jerking your collective knee?

  97. 97

I agree with her. I think everyone should stop using it. It's a nasty, hateful word for either race. I don't think it's acceptable to have one standard for one group and another standard for another group. It's mean no matter how you slice it.

And I love Dr. Laura — one of the few people who has the balls to tell it like it is and actually encourage people (esp. women) to stop living like trash bags. I mean yeah, we all make mistakes but at least TRY here people.

Re: trinigirl123 – You made the most intelligent points here. If only some of these readers would get a clue…

Re: dontfeellikebeingcreative – LOL! Standing ovation!!!

For all the dumbasses saying she has a point… at what point did the caller say she agreed with black people using it? Your arguments have the same flaw and Dr. Crazy Laura… this woman was not asking her opinion on the n word, she was asking for help with dealing with racists insults that hurt her. Then Dr. Laura says the N word to her 11 times… how can anyone defend this woman?????
