Although he's become a hero for those who want to leave their shiteous jobs, Steven Slater may not stay in good favor for much longer.
It seems that investigators cannot identify the woman who attacked Slater on the Jet Blue flight. Airline and Port Authority investigators are doubting the event ever took place.
"Crazier things have happened," claims a source close to the investigation.

I think he may not be 100% truthful. I have always been polite to airline staff, but have seen some amazingly rude passenger behavior. On the other hand, I have been on the receiving end of some monumentally rude, unwarranted,treatment from 2 major airlines. Aren't there any more witnesses that can state what really happened?
I think he was drunk,a liar, a moron, and is loving the attention.

this guy has some major issues!! i knew there was something wrong with him!! the stories the passengers told did not support his story and he seemed really arrogant in front of the press HE HIS JUST A SPOILED LITTLE BRAT WHO DOESNT HAVE THE MATURATY TO QUIT HIS JOB LIKE A DECENT PERSON AND THEN TRYING TO BLAME HIS PROBLEMS ON INNOCENT PEOPLE WHAT A DOUCHEBAG!!

How exactly are they trying to locate the woman? Would you admit to being a huge bitch? If it did happen wasn't she violating FAA rules and if she caused injury to him couldn't she have been detained after getting off the plane. Seems like that would have been the sensible thing to do rather than curse her out and deploy the emergency slide. Plus haven't some passengers already disputed his story?

Contrary to this I have seen a report on one of the news services about the woman who caused the trouble. There may be conflicting versions of what led up to it, but the fact remains..he did what he did and exited in high style..like many of us have wanted to do. I still think he's a hoot…good for him for livening up a dreary news day!
a passenger was on GMA this morning and said he had that cut on his head the entire flight. someone actually asked him what happened and asked if he was ok and his reply was "you wouldn't believe what kind of day i've had so far". she also said that it was a man that he had words with, not a woman and that nothing fell from the overhead bin as the passenger never even opened it. he had just stood up and that's why steven approached him.
I knew it from the beginning he was a loser.
I am thinking Perez's "hero" is a schemer and scam. Where is this lady? Don't you think should would have come out and told her side of the story by now? We are going to have a fallen hero soon enough!

There may be a lot of holes in his story, but how come no one is talking about the fact that it took 25 minutes after the infamous evacuation for authorities to be notified? Or that investigators are claiming that Jet Blue has been uncooperative with the investigation? The Port Authority Police had to get the list of names of passengers through a subpoena b/c Jet Blue wouldn't provide them at first (even though those names have been leaked to the media), and they haven't complied with providing the videotapes from the flight yet, either.
Now that the story isn't looking like what it seems to have happened at first, everyone's now quick to make Slater the gay, drunk whipping boy. However, there's something about Jet Blue and in the way that they have been handling this that is looking also quite shady.

I believe he was hit in the head, but I don't think that's how he got the gash. I think he went on board with a bad attitude. He could have handled that ONE passenger if he came on board in a better mood.
A woman named Gail Parsons posted on msnbc.com talking about how she was on the flight and had an altercation with him about baggage. Hmmmm . . . wonder if the authorities saw that?

The point is, aren't these people trained to deal with difficult passengers? How would he react if Sarah Palin had been on his flight, leaking amniotic fluid, having labor contractions?
