Steven Slater Previously Arrested For A DUI!

Our favorite former Jet Blue flight attendant Steven Slater was arrested for a DUI in Kentucky back when he was working for Delta Airlines in 1997, according to Inside Edition.

He pleaded guilty to the charges and paid a $457 fine.

Apparently he has been battling alcoholism for some time now, which he has opened up about on his MySpace page and he might have fallen over the wagon over recent events.

Police say when they went to arrest Steven in his Long Island home earlier this week they found him in bed drinking with his boyfriend. With blood shot eyes he responded to the police's question if he had been drinking:

"Yes, while waiting for you to show up."

Say what you want about Steven — but he's got balls!

But we do hope he's able to deal with alcoholism issues safely and successfully!

if this wasnt a gay guy whos nuts you've been all over for days, you would be talking about how he is a fucking idiot

  2. 2

So what? It was 1997. Now he travels in airplanes. At least he's not flying the plane……..

  3. 3

Paging Dina Lohan, crisis spokeswoman - she can go on tv and speak on his behalf. It was the airline, the passengers, a judge (somewhere?!!) yada, yada!!

  4. 4

Isn't his 5 minutes of fame over yet???

Seriously Perez, it was 1997! He was probably in his 20's. Making a stupid mistake does not an alcholic make. I doubt he was drinking on that flight and he opened a beer. Oh god send him to Promises!

so your "wifey" lady gaga did cocaine before, what did you think about her"drug" issues

His story keeps unravelling: first the cut on his head was there BEFORE the flight, then they can't find 'the woman passenger', and now he has a history of alcoholism and is binging again.
They dropped the ball if they didn't breathalise him just after his slide: bet he was drunk on the job.
I don't want a drunk or other substance abuser [lots of flight attendants are dopeheads] responsible for my safety in case of emergency.

This dude is quickly making himself seem like a major douche.

  8. 8

for such a fan of his, you sure enjoy airing his dirty laundry
what would we find out about you if someone dug deep in your past?? he was in his 20's…when many of us make stupid mistakes

After pulling the stunt he pulled, anyone with a brain would be getting bombed right afterward. Because those handcuffs he surely knew were coming look awfully tight.

  10. 10

He lives in Queens. Not really considered Long Island.

AND… this guy is a douche. He shouldn't be allowed to work any job where he is assisting people, much less an airline.

he is OBVIOUSLY an unstable and dangerous DRUNK.

I hope ALL the passengers from that flight LAWYER UP and file a class action suit for the danger he put them in.

It's "falling off the wagon", not "falling over the wagon" you moron. Can't you hire some desperate for cash college graduate to proof this piece of shit blog of yours?

Yup, we should have Sooooo seen this coming; if we'd known he got caught driving home after one too many THIRTEEN years ago, we would have known right away that he'd grab the intercom, tell off the passengers, grab a coupla brews, and deploy and slide down the chute yelling 'I quit.' After this article, in hindsight, all the signs were there. (Don't tell Lindsay.)

This story just gets more stupid as times go on. With all the ppl on that plane no one can get their shit right. All different stories. What about the other flight attendents. No one has spoken to them yet?? Isn't there an inventory of liquor on flights. Was he drinking? How long does it take to investigate this? Some of the ppl said he was "having a bad day". How do they know that he was having a bad day? Oh and the most important thing is WHERE IN THE HELL IS THE WOMAN THAT ALLEDGEDLY SMACKED HIM IN THE HEAD AND STARTED THIS WHOLE THING?????

Watch your glass houses people, how many of you have done the drive of shame without being caught so far? Buzzed driving IS drunk driving!
