James Cameron Warned Del Toro About Peter Jackson

Avatar director James Cameron certainly has no problem of telling people how he feels.

He is revealing that he warned director Guillermo del Toro to not get involved with making J.R.R. Tolkien's The Hobbit because of Lord of the Rings' director Peter Jackson's close ties with the franchise.

Despite spending several years in New Zealand working on The Hobbit, del Toro dropped out of the film earlier this year. Jackson has now become the frontrunner to make the prequels to the Lord of the Rings trilogy.

Cameron says that he had a feeling that Jackson would end up taking over, saying:

"Instinctively I knew that Peter [Jackson] was going to take over and do the movie. Guillermo, to his credit, didn't listen to me and wanted to do continue and had some great designs - and I have seen all the designs. Of course [Guillermo] would have done a spectacular job, but don't we want to see Peter do it? He should do it and Guillermo should do his thing. That's what I told both of them - you should just stay in your corners"

He does have a point and if anyone knows about getting his way, it's James Cameron!

We just hope The Hobbit actually happens and lives up to the hype!

He's a friggen idiot, way overrated and way over-paid and his movies aren't actually that good they're all "$$$$$$$$$$" and "SHAZAM, WOW, SOME COMPUTERY ARTIST WORKED YEARS ON THAT ONE BLUE PERSON"…he's a hack who just is good with money and would not be talented at all without it.

LEO is hot, LEO's amazing, KATE was talented that was the ONLY thing that upheld Titanic, not this jerk douche poon.

Awww. Just when I want to start appreciating James Cameron for being a good director, and a filmmaker with a lot of vision, and his concerns for the environment, etc. he goes and ruins it by opening his mouth!

Actually Perez, he said nothing. He's talking and saying nothing, just to be on everybody's side. He wants people to think other directors consult him for advice.

I don't know if they do, but I would talk to someone and confide in him if he's going to drop names and tell the public. James Cameron needs to mind his own buasiness and STFU!
