Favre Won't Retire! Brett Returns To The Vikings!

This man is unstoppable! And HAWT.

Although Brett Favre already announced that he would not be returning to the football field, he has reportedly had a change of heart and is set to play for his 20th season of football, this year with the Minnesota Vikings!

Apparently, his teammates Steve Hutchinson, Jared Allen, and Ryan Longwell had to fly out to Mississippi and convince him to sign back on, to which some are responding with criticism!

ESPN Analyst Tedy Bruschi says:

"If you went down there and you had to beg Brett Favre to come back to be a part of this team, I've lost respect for this team. To go down there and beg, that means Brett Favre might have had doubt in his mind. Maybe that ankle's not good. But if it took three teammates to go down and try to convince him? I don't like what I'm hearing. This would not happen in New England because they have a head coach that knows how to handle things like this."

Inneresting! We hope he's not attempting to play if he's not fully recovered from his injuries!

What do U think?? Should Favre return to the football field?

As a Vikings fan, first let me say, get your fucking facts straight. He has not said he's going to play yet, although at this point it looks likely. Nothing makes me more fucking mad than this douchebag wavering back and forth, back and forth, and Brad Childress letting this happen. Fuck Favre, I hope he stays retired but I wouldn't be that lucky.

Gonna be raining purple this year with our silver fox.

Perez, don't act like you know or care about football

    5. 5

Please stop posting anything sports related most of what you say is horribly wrong.

    6. 6

He never even retires. Some idiot from ESPN made a report based on no facts. He has not said anything about retiring or not!

    7. 7

      woohoo! Skol vikings.

    8. 8

If he wants to play, and a team wants to pay, then it doesn't matter what anyone else thinks. It's not like he sucked last year — he might have peaked, but he didn't suck!

I will watch Brett Farve forever. Apparently the Fountain of Youth is not in Florida…it's in Mississippi. I hope he never stops playing.

NOOOOOO! Nobody loves you anymore except YOUR GRANDCHILD! Go away! We're all sick of your wishy-washyness…and gray hair…and wrinkles…and senior moments. Go home and take some stool softener, turn up the heat and mark your bank balance in your pass book. Burn the play book. Buh-Bye

it doesnt even matter cause rogers is going to kick ass!

Cant stand hima nd his every year crying as he gives a retirement speech and then "making a comeback." He just cant give up the glory days or the spotlight. He needs to grow up already and move on.

GO AWAY!!!! He's like Rasputin, my Lord.

    13. 13

This doesn't mean he's still going to play, dumbass.

    14. 14

Although I am a Colts fan, I am trilled to see Farve play. He's amazing. Good to have him back playing for another season. Football is not football without Farve.

    15. 15

1.) He's not back for sure. Hire a fact- checker.
2.) No one knows the exact context of the visit or what was discussed. Maybe he needed advice or reassurance, maybe he didn't like being one-upped by LBJ and wanted to be begged to come back. No one knows for sure.
3.) Why are YOU reporting on this? I doubt you know shit about football.

    16. 16

you're sooo mad. He must have kicked your teams ass…LOL. Farve is an amazing player who is not ready to retire so take your loser ass off internet and get a life. Hey, life is for free!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: Babycakes!!! – You dont like him why? He kicked your teams ass last year…well watch out cuz he will do it again hater!!!!!!

Words cannot describe how happy this Vikings season ticket holder is. Jackson and Rosenfels wouldn't have been able to get it done. Vikings SuperBowl this year. The saints and the bad calls messed it up last year. Coming down to their city to take care of business this fall and to begin the road to the SuperBowl. Brett is old, yes, but still likely the best QB in the NFL. Congratulations to the Saints who put the cheap low hit on him to mess up him ankle (I hope they feel great about their cheap shots) but it didn't stop Brett. Bring it!

    19. 19

Oh and shut up Teddy Brewski - what are you talking about? We all know Bill Belicheck is a saint. lol

Him making a comeback in minnesota is depending on what the doctor says about his ankle. He is a great player and really showed our team how to be a team and play together. . CROSSING MY FINGERS #4

    23. 23

The guy is old and I'm so very tired of hearing about him but gotta give him credit because the old guy still has it … or at least he had it last year.

Re: highboo – half the 30 year olds playing in the NFL probably have grandkids too…
