We could get behind it!

Although he said he wouldn't be singing and dancing any time soon, Zac Efron is looking to star in the movie adaptation of the Broadway musical Memphis.

He attended Tuesday night's performance, which was the second time he's seen the show in a month. Zac was accompanied by WhatsHerFace and director Adam Shankman.

It's reported that Zacquisha wants the lead role of Huey Calhoun, a 1950s-era Memphis radio DJ.

Go get it, bb.

If they decide to do a film of it, he could be decent. Its a shame that when they debate making these adaptations, however, that they rarely consider the stage actors who created the roles.

That role requires Zack to fall in love with a black woman.
I don't see it happening… now falling in love with black guy? That's different.

"we could get behind it" just sounds creepy coming from you

He needs to do an action/adventure like a good cop/bad cop sorta movie and stop with the musicals and sappy stories. Branch out a little already or else be typecast for the rest of your life.

That might be good. Both he and Shankman need a big hit movie. As long as the vitch is not in it. She can't sing, dance or act.

This might be good for him. He desperately needs a big box office hit. So does Shankman. Just as long as the vitch is not in it. She can't sing, dance or act.
