Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Reboot On Its Way!

It's moving right along!

The proposed reboot of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles franchise is shooting for a 2012 release date, and Paramount is not messing around!

They've reportedly hired Art Marcum and Matt Halloway to write the script, and get this - these two are getting almost $1 million for a first draft ready by October!

Holy shiz! They're pulling out the big guns for this one, aren't they?

A source explains:

"The studio is looking at this as its next huge franchise, like Transformers."

They really must have a lot of faith in this one! That's a lot of money to lose if this thing flops!

What do U think?? Are U ready for a new NMNT??

It ROCKED in the 80's (or was it early 90's?). I kind of wish they'd leave well enough alone. Then again, it was pretty rad, I suppose it's kind of cool that a new generation will be exposed to the TMNJ

hey asshole is TMNT, not NMNT…

i loved these movies when i was kid…me and my siblings would watch them all the time…i was a girly girl, but i really got into them…lol…and my kids now enjoy them…they're not incredibly violent movies and dont have foul language and sex in them…i think its great to have things like that that are family friendly and i will actually not be worried about my kids seeing…i just hope its an actual movie and not animation bullshit…im so tired of all the badly animated movies…what ever happened to actual living characters or just plain old cartoon movies…this animation is about as bad a 3D…YUCK…call me old school but thats just how i feel…

i grew up with the originals!
i loved them, so hopefully they don't screw these up.

The Question is, will young boys today appreciate them?

    Re: UrMajestyMsG

What are you talking about, most animations to live-action are utter disasters.

Take The Last Airbender as the most recent example.

UrMajestyMsG, you know how sick Perez is. He was probably thinking Naked Mutant Ninja Teenagers.

Anyway. I always considered myself to be Raphael (even though I'm a girl) maybe its the red. I will watch it.

it could be good if they try to make it good.
back then they laughed at it then it was a best movie in the day.

people compared it to batman comics and movies.
