And we hope it's good or else it's just a shizload of nepotism!

Steven Spielberg is looking to turn Joe Hill's Locke & Key comic series into a TV series.

The comic, which is written by Stephen King's son, follows three kids that end up watching over a haunted New England mansion that is filled with mystical doors that transport them to different locals and give them special powers.

Dreamworks TV is teaming up with Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci of Fringe fame and writer/exec producer Josh Friedman for the project.

Would U watch?!

These books are prefect for a TV serious.

If this were true-YES. Amazing author.

Even before I knew he was SK's son I thought he was talented. Glad to see he's carrying the author genes.

Sounds good. Did not know King had a son. I'd like to see this if it developes.

I don't see a problem with Spielberg helping his kid. Spielberg's own father helped him when he was young.

Been following Joe Hill short stories for a couple years. iTunes has terrifying podcast stories that he wrote. By the way i never knew he was Stephen King's son WOW now that explains it better! The show has the potential to be awesome!

Awesome series (his books are good, but I think that his comics are some of the best out there, love them) and I'd have thought Spielberg could do a fantastic job on them. No nepotism involved here, I suspect, just two incredibly talented people admiring each others work and a hopefully great partnership forming.

It's locales, not locals. Pretty bad when I can't even read your posts anymore without noticing the misspelling and bad grammar in every single one.

Joe Hill is a very talented writer, King's son or not, and I would imagine that in concert with Spielberg, this ought to be a very good show.
