Michael Jackson's Kids Leave Homeschooling, Go To Private School
Despite what Michael might have had us believe, we all have to grow up sometime, and his kids are embracing that fact.
Michael Jackson’s children Prince, 13, and Paris, 12, have begun studying at The Buckley School, which is located in the San Fernando Valley in California.
Sources say that Prince wanted to attend the school for “a social experience.” Paris was not so hot-to-trot on the idea, but inevitably she came around and decided to join her brother at the school.
Not all the Jackson children will be attending The Buckley School, though. Michael’s 8 year old son, Blanket, will be homeschooled this year.
We wish the Jackson children the best of luck with their education this year, although we’re a bit fearful to think about what kind of “social experience” is in store for a child named Prince.

Are you kidding?! They'll be going to a PRIVATE SCHOOL! There are probably kids there with names like Theodorus Minton St.Menifer III and other such Harry Potter-ish type names.
To all the haters: Stop making fun of Michael's sweet innocent children. There is nothing wrong with their names. And to "So What" Blanket is only a nickname his real name is Prince Michael 2nd.. R.I.P MJJ I love you
Gotta agree with Perez on this. School and growing up is hard enough without having to do it with a name that kids can easily tease you with. That's not to say it foreshadows some sad fate for them but it just makes being a celebrity's child with a dead father a little harder still.
That, IMO, is the best thing for them. I hope Blanket will be able to do the same.

And these kids will be going to a rich school with other rich famous people's kids, they all have stupid names. Gwyenth Paltrow names her kid Apple, i dont hear stories about her kid having a hard time
Perez you always have something shady to say. Prince was named after his Grandfather for one so stop throwing Michael's name choice around for HIS son as if it was a crazy idea for a name. I'm sure his kid's will do just fine because their father raised them well and they are in good hands with the members of their family now. Contrary to what you and many other's may believe, other children and other people did come around Michael's kids so they are not socially challenged, Perez. I wish them the best and Michael will be looking over them always.

Exactly! I will never understand why people make such a big deal out of the name's Michael choose for his children. Some of the most well known people (as you mentioned) happen to also share the same name's and they have never been criticised or questioned regarding their name. Perez you built your career on the back of Paris Hilton's name (as someone else mentioned) and she happens to share the same name with Michael's daughter so do you have a problem with Michael naming her Paris? Make's no sense to me..

I have friends whose kids went to Buckley a few years ago. Those uppity rich kids ripped each other off all the time (e.g., stealing from lockers) and the sense of entitlement is obscene. It's too bad Katharine couldn't find a better environment, but it's where at least a few of their cousins went so she may not know better.

I hope they have fun and everything goes well. And pered michael was child like not childish, you can embrace growing up and still be youthful.

the name PRINCE is nowhere near as unusual as these names!! but again, because its michael jackson, people just have to have a dig! pathetic.
The original Prince got through school just fine with the name…its Blanket that might have a little trouble, although he could go by his actual name instead. Prince is a great name, plus they're going to a private school where Nicole Richie and other famous kids have attended so they're not gonna have to deal with the things kids in public school have to deal with. Anyways, those 3 kids are smart, beautiful and definitley going places in life. I wish the best for them in their first year of real school! Prince is starting 8th grade right? Well, thats a great grade to start in! =) "you'll get socialized all right, a little slice like you!" Hopefully Paris doesn't find herself in a group like the The Plastics, she's definitley pretty enough!
Prince will be an accountant, Paris will be a slovenly pig like her mother and Blanket will be a adolescent with a toddler's name and a mane like the Kardasian's they should first prepare to change their names to Albert, Ginny and Floyd. They have Michael's last name but live in a fantasy about the talent they did not inheret.
