i'm a fan of both, but when it comes to plot and continuity and character development, as well as other factors, glee is kind of lackluster. Lost didn't deserve to be snubbed, it deserved every emmy that it was nominated for.
It was an amazing show, and should have been recognized at this year's emmys.

yay, jim parsons finally wins an emmy! so glad that glee didn't win the award for best comedy. sure they sing great, but the story is so ugh.. ridiculous. it definitely went downhill on the second half of the season. i'm happy for jane lynch though. well deserved.

I hope that Friday Night Lights wins next year since it will be its last season. They should have won this year… it had an amazing plot. Conan should have won for starters because he is funny as all HELL and it would have made some funny TV to see what he would have said (even though he really cant say too much). But still I would have loved to see him stick it to NBC. Im glad to see that Glee didnt win everything. I mean its a cute show… but not fantastic. Modern Family is a FUNNY FUNNY show. They deserved alot of the awards. BUT True Blood got snubbed… was up with that?!? I didnt watch Lost, but I heard it was a great series and they should have won especially since its over. But overall it was a decent show. The best I have seen in a long time. I kept it on longer then I ever have.
True Blood and LOST got robbed all because they are the most popular shows on TV. The academy must have been paid for most of those wins because they screwed the most EPIC shows out of their just desserts.
I know it's "just an awards show" and in the grand scheme of things they don't really matter. With that said, I am surprised that Lost didn't get recognized at all considering what an innovative and truly epic TV show it is/was. I'd say Damon & Carlton for writing, Matthew Fox for lead actor & Lost for best drama all should have won.

There is no way that John Lithgow didn't win for his performance on "Dexter". It was probably the best acting I have seen in about 10 years. These awards shows are a joke.
Michael C. Hall got snubbed big time! Shame since S4 of "Dexter" was excellent beyond words. Oh well there's next year….

The Emmys were pathetic. The same crap wins ever year. I have no idea why I bothered watching. The only thing worthwhile was the opening number. Everything else sucked.
