After a treacherous divorce and a serious bout with malaria, Cheryl Tweedy is releasing a comeback single, entitled Promise This.
She is due to perform the new track on X Factor in October and filming a music video in El Lay as soon as this week.
"It was actually written months ago and although it's not directly talking about her illness there is a strange lyrical twist that ironically relates to her recent near-death experience," said a source.

I doubt very seriously that she had a near death experience. There are 300 million cases of malaria diagnosed each year and those that are not fortunate to have access to medical care are the ones who die. She was diagnosed, treated, and recovered. Enough said. So typical of her to milk the story for her own gain.
