Conan's A Good Sport!

Team CoCo felt another crushing blow to their devotion last night when Conan O'Brien didn't walk away with an Emmy for his work on The Tonight Show.
It wasn't a major surprise to us, but we still felt like the guy was cheated. But how did Conan feel about it? Let's just check his Twitter to find out!
This afternoon, Conan Tweeted:
"A huge victory for me at last night's Emmys. That's right, my wife let me have the aisle seat."
Whomp, whomp!
No worries though, Conan. There is always next year. It will be just as sweet to have your new show win an Emmy!

You sir are an idiot; our devotion remains as strong as ever!!
37 million dollars and he was cheated?
they wouldn't have allowed that to happen. they don't want the masses any more riled up than they already are. (were) I totally quit watching the Tonight show when he left. I think a lot of people did. I don't think the ratings are too good.
Glad he didn't win. His ego is big enough…and I started watching THE TONIGHT SHOW again when he left!
Re: Lillibunny – Ego? Whose ego is bigger than Jay's? He's hte guy who HID IN A FREAKIN' CLOSET TO EAVESDROP ON AN NBC EXEC MEETING. Leno obsessively compyulsively has to be on stage pretty much every night of his life. When he's not doing the Tonight Show, he's in Vegas (or a comedy club in Hermosa Beach, CA, where his atrocious, tone-deaf, insensitive Mel Gibson Nazi joke bombed the other night. Comparatively, Conan is sane, grounded, decent, and generous.
Re: backfire – You question presumes that Coco only cares about the money. My guess is that he cares more about the legacy of the Tonight Show as platform for delivering unique, inventive comedy to America. Jay just obsessively needs to be on TV and never tries anything new (which is why comedians hate him).
Re: JaseMac – Exactly! I dumped Leno a long time ago due to his repetitive, predictable "style." He wallows in stagnancy while Conan dares to be inventive, zany and risk-taking. He'll do more than succeed now that he's freed (hopefully) of any network meddling.
