Glee Cast Not Being Treated Like Given Royalties
Looks like the Glee cast has bigger issues to contend with than cars getting keyed.
Glee stars are complaining that they aren’t seeing royalties from Sony for the latest CD release.
A source says that Glee executive producer Ryan Murphy struck a major deal with Sony CEO Ralph Schmidt-Holtz, in which the show’s cast weren’t included. Here’s the source on the deal:
"The 'Glee' cast is furious because they feel they were misled by Sony. They have all complained to Ryan that they want a bigger share of the royalties."

"Sony should have known better — they kept their hands on money that could have paid to the cast. But by upsetting the biggest talent on TV, the label is cutting its nose off to spite its face. It is myopic, short-term thinking on their part."
The cast of the show is SO bitter, that it looks like some stars have signed deals with competing record labels. Matthew Morrison has signed a deal with Mercury Records and Mark Salling has signed a deal with independent label Pipe Dream Records.
If we were you, Sony, we’d make things right with the Glee cast. Are these REALLY enemies you’d like to make, guys? Think about it.

Sony sucks!!! They RUINED MICHAEL JACKSON'S LIFE!!!
I'm a huge Glee fan, but I see that Sony shouldn't be getting the flack for this, at least not all of it. The cross-hair should be aimed at Ryan Murphy as well. It says it right in this article; "he struck a major deal with Sony." If he didn't make sure his cast was included in said deal, then it's also his fault.
Now my question is; are they getting no royalties at all, or not enough(according to them)? The title says "not getting royalties," then the article says "aren't seeing royalties from Sony". But then the quote says that "they want a bigger share of the royalties." So this is either a case of bad information or poor article writing…

Why the hell does everyone treat the Glee stars like they run the world? Glee's going to fizzle out in a few years and there are only going to be a few people from the show that will still be in the spotlight. Glee sucks people, why can't you accept that?
This is the problem of all the cast members of GLEE. If you separate these artists, nobody will really stand out. Nowadays Lea Michelle, Matthew Morrison and maybe Mark Salling gets so much publicity, and they can thank the GLEE show for this exposures. Once these people started to act like Diva and demanding a lot, which is happening right now with Lea Michelle and Matthew Morrison, I´m pretty sure their popularity will be numbered. It´s very easy today to replace them with another artists who are not giving the production too much problem. So I think these cast members need to be carefull because the reality is they are not "that" popular yet.
