Jersey Shore Breaks Records In Canada!

After its overwhelming success in the States, it seems even Canadians love MTV's Jersey Shore.

The show is on the heels of The Hills as best-ever performing reality show on Canadian TV, bringing in 486,000 viewers for last week's episode.

Jersey Shore was even the subject of the top-rated video for the CTV online network last month, and drawn in almost seven million video views on mtv.ca.

Amazeballs, eh?!

this show is sooo amazingly ridiculous.. it really is the trainwreck you can't look away from.. I bashed it til a friend made me watch it.. now i'm hooked.. my man bashed it til i made him watch it.. hooked! lol…
i've even hooked a couple of his friends..
i think we are going to start having "family dinner night" at our place on Thursday so we can watch our little guilty pleasure! lol

Let me clarify something, as a Canadian. Just because a million people or two in this country watched this incredibly dumb show(of which I am NOT one), doesn't neccesarily mean they like the show, or it's any good. The people I have talked to that watch it all say the same thing, they watch it to laugh at the stupidity of those embarassments from NJ, or NY, wherever they are from.We are actually quite grateful that they're not from here, and please, please, please keep them on that side of the border.(you know, in case stupidity and douchebagery are catching.)

I agree with marymeass…we have a lot of Reality shows in Quebec that bring 1M people watching those shows… 1M in Quebec for a population of 7M… and we have a 486 000 people who had watch "Jersey Shore" for a population of 30M… that is REALLY nothing…

Is there really nothing interesting in the US to post a thing like that?
