MTV Loves The Knocked Up Teens!

Here we go again!
Sources are confirming that MTV has signed off on a third season of 16 & Pregnant. Furthermore, while the third season is airing, MTV is said to be jumping into casting for a potential fourth season.
Anyone else want to bet there is a 16-year-old cashing in her V-Card behind an Orange Julius right now and planning her audition tape in her head? (Sad!)
Are U going to watch the new season?

In this day one would think 16 year old girls would be using birth control IF they are going to engage in s`e`x!! WAKE up dumb asses and don't give up your lives “so young to have a “` brat!! Cause at 16 “` that's what a baby turns in to.
Who in the fuck watches all these shitty shows?!?
Well at the very least it is good they dotn glamorize being pregant at 16. Ont he last season every girl ended up without her aby daddy and struggling to get by. ANy girl who does it on purpose or thinks their man will stick around is STUPID!!!!
how can you make fun and judge so many people, more even girls.
you do not know what goes on the 16 year old girls heads, or their stories to the ones not on television. please stop making fun, and judging.
Not like I am the best person when it comes to morality and whatever but this is really REALLY bad for all the teenage girls in America. You don't have to be a genius to figure out that, yes, there really is some dumb teeny bopper at this very moment TRYING to get pregnant just because of this show. It's so disgusting. Half the so called "celebrities" now days are famous for getting fucked. Now all you have to do is go get fucked and get knocked up and your on MTV. Soon enough they will have different versions of the show…..15 and pregnant, 14 and pregnant, 13 and pregnant. Watch and see.
I Don't even feel bad because these girls are the ones writing into MTV to get on the show haha
this is terrible, demeaning, and SAD. why on earth do they keep putting these shows on the air. i am a 16 YEAR OLD GIRL. all of my friends and i watch these shows and quite honestly, they make it look fun being pregnant and having babies. this show needs to get off the air ASAP. MTV is a channel that teenagers watch, this channel and it's tv shows have a huge impat on our lives hmmm, maybe ill get knocked up and lose my fucking v-card to get rich and famous…WHY NOT.
Re: blonde bi-otch –
Have you actually seen the show? None of them glorify teen pregnancy. Almost all of the girls featured specifically state that they regret the decisions they made, and talk about how much they've had to give up to raise the baby, and how much their lives have changed. This show does not promote teenage pregnancy. This type of show is actually good (I say that tentatively only because of the network it's aired on), because it showcases the difficulties of having a child at a young age, and furthermore, trying to raise a child. Lots of teens wouldn't be introduced to the style of life these people have to live, without the show.
It would be very sad if someone tried to get pregnant just to get on this show! All of the girls end up crying about how hard their lives are its kinda sad. I do like to watch it tho
people relax…. i am past my teenage years and i love the show.. it keeps me motivated to stay abstinent because it shows how difficult it is to be a mother and how most guys will not be their to fight the battle. I dont feel that the show promotes pregnancies, yes some girls are dumb and might try to get on the show but we already have a whole lot getting pregnant b4 the show its just the way of life
"Anyone else want to bet there is a 16-year-old cashing in her V-Card behind an Orange Julius right now and planning her audition tape in her head? (Sad!)"
No, but per your usual, I'm surprised you haven't begged for a role yet.
This is old news- MTV was casting for the 4th season a couple months ago, and the 3rd season girls have been famewhoring about being MTV stars for months now.
these kinds of shows are so shitty! I now know 5 girls who are pregnant and under the age of 19. My freakin cousins are obsessed with having a baby soon, and yes, they all watch this show and have for the last couple years. its ridiculous!
I hate this show.
If you have a head then you will not be pregnant at 16.
I'll watch it… I'm pregnant myself (24) and if I see that they will manage, it gives me hope for my parenting skills soon whahaha ** but also watching it to see those parents who didn't watch their kid ! (yeah yeah I know…you can't always watch them? then give them condoms or something !)
i would rather be dead than watch this .. i would rather be in a coffin with giant maggots eating me
Damn you Perez…now you have me hankering for an Orange Julius!
Hey, didn't they go out of business in 1985? Haven't seen one in a mall in years!
Re: Ellie1117 – Exactly. It shows what dirtbag teenage boys do. Usually leave the girl to raise the babies by themselves. A girl would be stupid to have a baby just to get on a show. A child is 18 years plus
Re: Ellie1117 – It doesn't matter if it doesn't "glorify" teen pregnancy technically. The only thing these little girls see when they watch the show is the other teenage girls that are on tv, then on mag covers for the fact that they got pregnant at such a young age. They can show the most horrifying aspects of teen pregnancy but it won't make a difference. They aren't going to have a baby for any other reason than to try to be on the show, at the very least, be like the girls that are on the show. It might show some girls how shitty it is to get knocked up but if they are smart enough to not get pregnant because of that they probably had enough sense in the first place to not do it. I don't agree with it. You have your opinion, I have mine.
Re: vanhelsing bride – Of course a girl would have to be stupid to have a baby just to be on a show. You don't think there are dumb girls out there that think like that? Watch an episode of Maury Povich with those idiot 12 year olds that want babies. They're everywhere
This show, although extensively filled with drama, is probably one of the only helpful / educational shows MTV has shown in a long time. It gives girls, and guys, a glimpse into the life of those similar to their age in a situation of dealing with pregnancy and/or adoption. People think it's peaches and cream, but in reality a lot of girls don't know about birth control or couples don't take precautions needed because of the "heat of the moment" excuse. Hence, teenage pregnancy.
Re: Ellie1117 – Exactly,I agree!! If you´re smart, then you´ll think, "I want to live my life orderly, first I´m going to be a teenager, then I´ll be an adult and then I´ll have a child".
Perez?! Seriously?! Do you really believe there are any 16 year olds that are still virgins? I don't know any…
this show should be off the air, along with Jersey Shore and those horrible pedephile toddle beauty pagent shows!!
Re: emilyann89 –
Um, this is a blog, thats what people do, get over it.
Re: Black Mamba 1 –
Sure, because ALL TEENAGERS THINK BEFORE THEY ACT!!
COME ON!
Probably; these girls make me laugh honestly. They think their lives won't change and they can still party with their friends and their dead beat boyfriends will hang around once the baby is born.
