He's not exactly breaking any new ground, but we like it!

David Archuleta has just dropped his new single, Something About Love, a very pleasant and safe pop song. The best word to describe it is "cute".

Hopefully it can turn into at least a mild radio hit for the Idol alum!

      I love David Archuleta's new single — I already bought it from iTunes. I just wish radio stations would play the song and at least give it a chance. I can't for the whole album that will be available Oct 5!

      He is presh in the biz where so many fame whores are self promoting gossip creators. He does his own thing avoiding craps by being good and clean and focusing on only making music. I heard he wrote this song with the producers of Shake It by Metro Station, SAM and Sluggo. If you said 'cute' and 'safe' against 'sleazy' and 'shitty', I would say yes. Sick of shits. My ears are bleeding!!

      Perez - David has a video for this song too. And recently he performed another album song called Elevator. And there's a song called Parachutes and Airplanes he sang at a BYU concert and I hope that's on the album.

      I love David Archuleta! He is such a great singer and doesn't bow down to the pressure to do songs that are sleazy like other artists do. "Something Bout Love" is fun and upbeat and that is what David does best! Not only can David sing he is absolutely the sweetest and cutest young man! Love him to pieces!!

      I knew the song, but what really make me fall in love with it was his live performance on the AA Kids in the US Open yerterday, the kid sound great live and the new band members add some kind of new energy to the live performance.
