It would seem that justice is swift in Sin City with District Attorney David Roger at the helm. Most notably, David was the man that finally got O.J. Simpson behind bars after he escaped his notorious murder charges.
Sources close to the good D.A. say that he is not the sort of man to offer a plea bargain deal on a cocaine possession charge, no matter who the person is. The source explains:
“Roger won't tolerate celebrities coming to Las Vegas and thinking they can get away with illegal behavior. It's going to be extremely difficult for Paris to get out of these charges, even with the brilliant legal skills of her lawyer, David Chesnoff.”

Why would you hope she gets a lenient jury? She deserves fair treatment like the rest of us. She needs to take responsibility for whatever she's done (or not done). Her word seems pretty worthless at this point. Rather than devote herself to the community and good works as she claimed she would after her incarceration, she's pretty much focused on self-promotion and self-serving pursuits.
