    yes. lovely!

No offense to Robyn as I do like her music, but this shows once again just how truly brilliant Bjorks voice is.

  3. 3

Nothing beats the original, but this is pretty beautifull! Love Robyn, horrible dress though. She can look so much better.

I don't care how obscenely awkward and/or eccentric you may be, but covering a MEGA star such as Bjork will only get you a major FAIL. Not even Beth Gibbons shall be allowed to cover her (Bjork) or vice versa. Sorry Robyn, but your crazy quivery voice, isn't holding down the joint. I'd be so blunt as to say that Bjork concurs w/ my veredict, per her face.

    Absolutely incredible!"%!"&!#& Loooooove it!

I liked it. Robyn is one of the few singers left who shows emotion when she sings. I believe the stories she tells when she sings them because she actually understands what she is singing about, whether it is her song or not.

  7. 7

Bjork didn't look like she enjoyed it. Robyn put in a good effort, but she obviously couldn't hit the high notes that Bjork did in the song.

The 4 people on Björk's right side are the Swedish Royal Family. Queen Sylvia, King Carl-Gustaf XVI, Crown Princess Victoria and her new hubby Prince Daniel :)

Björk doesn't look too happy, she never does.

I really do like Robyn, though I don't think this cover comes close to Bjork's rendition.

will never compare to Björk's version with the string quarter, or the original. Robyn (who I love) just doesn't have the kind of range Björk does.

  11. 11

Love Bjork and Robyn did a great job here. We can see her behind this very beautiful song.

  12. 12

bjork seems to loving it haha

  13. 13

i dont think björk looks unhappy, it rather looks like she's teary eyed

  14. 14

Reality Check: Robin ruined the song. I cannot belive Bjork didnt shoot her.

  15. 15

    a big ouppppps

  16. 16

Bjork looked amazing!!!!!!!! that faceted top . .wow!!!
The polar prize is a massive honor, awsome to see Bjork get such recognition.

  17. 17

    wow she butchered that song
    terrible job
and i really agree with those who said that this proves how talented bjork is

  18. 18

ABSOLUTELY SHIT! Karen O's version 100 times better than this massacre. Hmmm here's an idea leave Bjork to sing Bjork songs nobody does them any justice.

  19. 19

sooooo boring, she doesn't have a bit of personality in her voice

  20. 20

It looked like Robyn trying to do her best "Bjork" I'm surprised she didn't have on a goose gown. Breathtakingly Bad, maybe. Also she f-ed up the lyrics pretty horribly, it's why you should read the lyrics rather than rehearsing with your I-pod. Bjork looked pissed.

  21. 21

mot the same… but nice try robs

Kind of liked it at first, but the chorus was terrible–it didn't have anywhere near the range of Bjork. Of course, that is one of the greatest songs ever… pretty hard for anyone to cover it.

  23. 23

I'm a huge Bjork's fan and my ears are bleeding! I hope she never does it again. What's with all the high notes whispering?? It's impossible to do cover for Bjork - especially with Robyn's voice which, no offence, sounded awful. What was so "breathtaking"??

  24. 24

Re: Bettina De Coninck – I completely agree. I guess it takes Bjork to sing this whole song in a head voice.

  25. 25

No offence Robyn fans, I personally have never listened to her music. However, if you're going to cover someone like Bjork, choose a song that matches your vocal capabilities. Hyperballad should not be done by a musicial artist in it's original form, you'll always find fault in the song. If you are going to cover someone make the song your own and present it to the artist in a fresh way. I personally found this song boring. I am sure Robyn has a lovely voice but I seriously could not listen to this song more than a minute, it was annoying. See you in Iceland in July 2011 Bjork!

  26. 26

I really like this version. If you listen to it again and again you will like it better and better. Love the Björk version too.
Robyn is a great singer and I´m looking forward seeing her at the Icelandic airwaves in october.
