Burn! LiLo Shunned From Machete Premiere!
Ouch! You pay your dues and you still can't get any respect. Tough gig, girl!
On Friday, Robert Rodriguez’s Machete will open to theaters, but just last week, Hollywood gathered to celebrate the film at it's premiere. Everyone, that is, but Lindsay Lohan!
Even though she had just been released from rehab the day before and she stars in the film as a wealthy and spoiled junkie daughter of a politician who makes sex tapes with her mom, insiders from the red carpet were led to believe that LiLo wasn't invited to the premiere because of her notoriety. The filmmakers were concerned that should LiLo attend, it would be a massive disruption and take the attention away from the movie.
A movie, mind you, that Lindsay is naked in the majority of the time, which maybe the only draw for some people!
When sources reached out to Lindsanity's mother, Dina, for comment on the matter, she simply said:
“We are in a great place and I am not commenting there!”
Finally! A topic about Lindsay's life her parents are willing to shut the hell up about! Oh, happy day!

No swag for Dina. Poor thing. I don't get where everyone says Lindsay is such a good actress. No she isn't. She's mediocre at best. She was just a child actor and that is a very small pond. She's worthless in the big pond. In a way the person I feel the most sorry for is her little sister, you know, the one who looks like a 35 year old? That one really better cut her losses and get an education. Lindsay is a joke. That's really sad but something tells me even if she wasn't a celebrity she'd still be messed up because of her parents.
I thought the whole P.R. thing was about using/exploiting each of the actors baggage and "reputations" to draw attention to the "product", i.e. the flick.
Why have LiLo in a movie like this- re: Machete- if you aren't going to acknowledge her fringe qualities. So are they going to cut her nude scenes out?

Stupid on part of the filmmakers. They're doing a movie about killer nuns who make porn w/their family members and they are worried about a woman just out of rehab bringing "drama" to the fuckin' premiere. Really?

That effed up. The producers knew when they hired Lindsey to do the roll that she had a bad rep, a couple of days in jail shouldn't change that. And if in fact she is naked in most part of the movie, then they're just using her. How sad. She should've been at the premiere, for F's sake, they let assholes like Charlie Sheen keep filming while he's car pooling bakc and forth in an out of jail/rehab. Hollywood, oh how I love the double standard.
