"Don't Call Me Latina" Alba Is Back In Full-Force!

| Filed under: Icky Icky PooLatinoliciousFilm FlickersJessica Alba

Oh, here we go…

Yessica "Don't Call me Latina" Alba is FINALLY addressing why she hates her ethnicity and refuses to play Latin women in film, and we think it's a pretty LAME excuse!

She reveals:

"For me, I never wanted to reinforce any stereotypes about Latin women, and that was why I've shied away from Latin characters I've been offered. Most of them reinforced the stigmas. The women whom I grew up with are intelligent, strong women, and unless I read a woman being portrayed that way in a film, I didn't want to play it."

We think that we'll wash that little quotable down with a shot of BULLSHIT.

Whatevs. Hopefully playing this character in Machete helped her open her eyes to how ridiculous she is!

She should be teaching her kid to EMBRACE where she's from and the culture that comes with it!

But who are we kidding? She'll probably dye her hair back to blonde in like a week!

She is ugly…I don't know who she thinks she is. GLAD HER CAREER IS IN THE CRAPPER. DUMB BITCH !

  2. 2

Who is she kidding? Nobody wants her in their movie!

  3. 3

What part of the quote did you not get? She said she didn't want to play the stereotyped Latina woman, and wants to play women who are portrayed as strong and intelligent. I don't see what is wrong with that. Maybe you should be bitching out the screen writers who don't create strong, intelligent Latina characters.

  4. 4

So she doesnt want to play an obnoxious latin woman. She wants to portray an intelligent one. Good for her.

  5. 5

I don't think you get it, she is stating she will not play your stereotypical latin woman, it is just like some black actors refuse to play a thug. I don't get why you continue to run this into the ground, get off her ass already.

  6. 6

She is not latino. She is 87% European and 13% Indigenous American. She's a white girl.

  7. 7

what the f are you talking about) you cant be defined by some imaginary borders

  8. 8

Stop it, Mario. Did you read the scripts she was offered? Do you know if they truly were stereotypical roles?
It is a FACT that some ethnic actresses–notably, Black ones (Alfre Woodard, Viola Davis, CCH Pounder, etc.)–are not offered romantic roles, and are often relegated to supporting roles.
If Alba can back up her claims, then I support her. And she isn't just Latina, she's Danish and other groups, too.
And BTW, the last few movie roles Alba did select were all dogs anyway, but, hey, she didn't perpetuate a stereotype.

  9. 9

I haven't seen MACHETE, but during her press junket one outlet showed a scene with her and Michelle Rodriguez where Alba's character tells Rodriguez's character to go get her a taco. Alba and Rodriguez laughed and talked about it after. Given that Alba said she doesn't want to "re-inforce the stigmas," I'm wondering: Is Rodriguez not Latina, or was Alba simply "filmed out of context"?

  10. 10

Yes - she should totally be dressed like Carmen Miranda at all times & only say "Ay Papi!" God, you're an idiot. As for teaching her kid where she's from…umm she was born in America you douche, just like Jessica was. Also, Jessica is Danish and French Canadian as well as Mexican and her kid's father is African-American and Hispanic so what exactly would you like her to "EMBRACE" Perez? You are so clearly a racist who feels people of mixed race should choose only one part of themselves to be proud of. Get with the times guy. People are mixed & it's beautiful when they don't fall victim to stereotypes.

  11. 11

Perez or Barbara, go fucking back to mexico, so tired of ur alba comments, she's american, leave her alone

  12. 12

I want to love her and tried dupporting her since Dark Angel, AND DIDNT SHE PLAY A LATINA on there? Anyways, it sounds like BS if she wants to show good stereotypes for latinas she could have EASILY asked the directors to make her characters surname hisp.Look at Hugh Grant! us fans want to relate to her but, na ITS OVER, her roles have been diverse and non negative. I think what she's trying to say isim not playing a maid, person from Mexico unless they are not poor..she should accept like Halle Berry, im 1/2 wht but look my other half, shut up and embrace it! She must have issues cuz shes from Pomona..ugh! Count this mexamer as 1 less fan

  13. 13

Re: Mimi the Magnificent – Hey dipshit there is such a thing as White Hispanic! Who the fuck do you think colonized and settled in all those Latin Countries?! Speaking of White Hispanics, Fuck off and shut up Mario! The way I see it you're not exactly a credit to your community so Alba doesn't have to answer a God Damn thing to you!

  14. 14

Did you actually read the quote Mario?

  15. 15

this is how she feels, GET OVER IT DOUCHE. Everyone knows she has a latin american heritage, if she does not want to play hispanic women, than why SHOULD SHE? She is an actress, she plays roles. She only has latin roots on ONE SIDE, it is not like she is from latin america. That would be like taking another actress, lets use DEMI MOORE as an example, her ethnic background is Welsh, French, Cherokee, Jewish -why isn't everyone, MEANING YOU, hating on her for not taking on Native American roles, since she has Cherokee flowing? How about just French roles, since she has that je n'sais quoi about her?

  16. 16

I think it's a pretty good reason not to play a latin character…

  17. 17

    What's wrong with you?

  18. 18

I agree with Julie Stone. I don't think Jessica is saying she doesn't want to be called Latina…She is saying she doesn't want to play the stereotype roles Crazywood wants to give her…Like the maid….the mistress that has an affair with her white rich boss…..the women with a lot of kids. I don't blame her at all.

  19. 19

It's true and i completely agree with her. Most latina stereotypes in the media portray eroticism and seducing moves and it's annoying as fuck. More power to her for not contributing to that

  20. 20

makes sense to me. why do you think that's BS? I don't understand that. I like her.

  21. 21

I am little confused of why what she said is bullshit..? I mean she doesn't want to play Latino women in movies that fall into the stereotype.. She's not ashamed of where she comes from she said the women she grew up with were strong and intelligent so if someone presented her with a role like that she probably take it.. I don't blame her for not wanting to fall into the stereotypes.. Perez you are such a douche.. seriously..

  22. 22

So it's ok for her to play an African American woman in a stereotypical role for the movie Honey?

  23. 23

Did you not read the quote? And since when can hispanics not have blonde hair? Helllooooo Perez, I'm pretty sure you weren't born with the head of a smurf…

  24. 24

Umm, I think she is saying that she will not take latina roles if it makes her look like a ghetto girl, maid, drug dealer, user or something they stereotype latinas as. I understand that and respect that. In anything you quoted her saying I did not read that she was ashamed or embarrassed over being latina..Those are your words. Sounds like she wants to play strong, positive latinas.. Nothing wrong with that. And if she were ashamed, she would have done what Rita Hayworth and Raquel Welch did and changed her name to sound more american. She did not.. You again are twisting a story around to sound like something it is not.. shameful..

  25. 25

Re: Julie Stone – AMEN! I agree!

  26. 26

I agree! Only a total phony embraces the fact that shes not a Latina when she clearly is! I mean, its not like she was born in America and most likely speaks about as much Spanish as Bristol Palin…oh, wait.

You know, she is also Dutch and French Canadian. But yet you dint gripe about her lack of embracing of these cultures. Why is that?

Does perezhilton.com vilify those of us who are proud to be American and live for that? Why are you so adamant that those of us who have Hispanic ancestry constantly remind society that we are Latino/a's? Why is it so bad that we are proud to be American?

That must have been why our grandparents left Mexico for America; so their grandchildren "could be Mexicans".

On a side note; If Mexico and America ever went to war with one another, one country could draft Jessica and the other can't. I'm proud to have Jessica Alba as one of my fellow citizens…..An American Citizen!!!

  27. 27

Sounds like a good explanation to me. I assume she's still allowed to form an independent opinion. Plus she's hot.

  28. 74 says – reply to this

    28

Latinos were the ancestors of the people who invaded her father's country centuries ago. Why does she have to say she's that?
What is it with US people and that latino/hispanic nonsense? You don't say Canadians and Jamaicans are the same "Anglo/Britannic" ethnicity.

  29. 29

I think the "soy una puta" caption is completely rude, childish, stupid and disrespectful for a woman who by the way has always had the same speech regarding her heritage. "Soy una puta" means "I am a whore" for those of you who desn't speak spanish and that is utterly out of context and uncalled for. So now because you don't agree with her she is a whore? Give me a break

  30. 30

Re: Mimi the Magnificent – are u just flat out uneducated? If you went to Mexico and did the DNA test George Lopez did u will find a huge number with Euro in them too, indig/NA does not = to Mexican you moron, Mexicans are MESTIZOS, educate yourself before you spout off. And how/who are u to say she's NOT when the whole interview she gave was abt her wanting to represent her LATINA background, which she looks 100% of even though she's 1/2 Mex and 1/2 wht. Just like Halle Berry, shes mixed but knows she looks and will be looked at as black, JA should just ask halle how she does it

  31. 31

This woman is so ashamed to be Hispanic! And I don't blame her exactly, It was her grand father who never spoke Spanish so she could be "normal" . She's proud that she "finally cut loose" the Hispanic heritage of her family! Just because you were raised in America doesn't mean your not Latin!!! Their are terms like Latin American .I blame her GrandFather for telling her that being Hispanic is so terrible and makes you an outcast Don't believe me? here are some quotes of hers.

"Alba is my last name and I'm proud of that. But that's it. My grandparents were born in California, the same as my parents, and though I may be proud of my last name, I'm American. Throughout my whole life, I've never felt connected to one particular race or heritage, nor did I feel accepted by any. If you break it down, I'm less Latina than Cameron Diaz, whose father is Cuban. But people don't call her Latina because she's blonde."

My grandfather was the only Mexican at his college, the only Hispanic person at work and the only one at the all-white country club. He tried to forget his Mexican roots, because he never wanted his kids to be made to feel different in America. He and my grandmother didn't speak Spanish to their children. Now, as a third-generation American, I feel as if I have finally cut loose."

Re: Mimi the Magnificent – "She is not latino. She is 87% European and 13% Indigenous American. She's a white girl."

Well, a lot of Latinos are Mestizos… and a Mestizo is half-European (usually Spanish) and half Amerindian. You say she is both European and "Indidgenous American" which is a Mestizo, so, sounds like she's Latino to me. But born in the USA of course.

  33. 33

I get what she's saying, the sterotype of Hispanic women as ghetto sluts is pretty terrible, but with everything else she has said, I'm gonna have to go with Perez on this one. And She should embrace all of her ethncities and cultures, not just the one(s) that are convient.

Re: Mimi the Magnificent – "She is not latino. She is 87% European and 13% Indigenous American. She's a white girl."

Well, a lot of Latinos are Mestizos… and a Mestizo is half-European (usually Spanish) and half Amerindian. You say she is both European and "Indidgenous American" which is a Mestizo, so, sounds like she's ethnically Latino to me. But born in the USA of course.

  35. 35

Be very careful about what you say about Jessica, asshole!

  36. 36

    Oh, one more quote;
"George Lopez starts speaking to my father in Spanish, and my dad says, 'I don't speak Mexican.' He has no filter. I probably acquired that characteristic from him."
This really makes me sad…. I get why she wouldn't feel very Mexican because she's American, but she is still Latina! I don't understand why she and her family hate being Mexican so much. I'm half Puerto Rican and half African American, And I embraced BOTH pf my ethnicities!

  37. 37

Good for her! I think she quoted beautifully. She doesn't want to be stereotyped. She wants the women in the Latin culture to be portrayed as strong and beautiful. And how do you know she isn't teaching her child to embrace the Latin heritage?

  38. 38

    …..
    Perez
You are pretty wood at twisting an statement
and YOU just reached the lowest a male guy can get calling a mother os a kid, puta.
    Puta your mother. How's that?

  39. 39

Re: Mimi the Magnificent – Her father is Mexican, therefor, she is half Hispanic. Anyway, there is such a thing as a white hispanic. People who were decendants of the Europeans, Such as I. I'm half Puerto Rican and Half Mexican, however, my ancestry is Spanish. Same thing.

  40. 40

I don't understand, she's denying her heritage if she doesn't speak with an accent or she's not flamboyant like your little friend, La something? Fuck that. She's never said she wasn't hispanic, and she never denied it.

  41. 41

its not like she can speak SPANISH anyways so lets keep it real and have her play what she is "good at" playing a dumb white girl because i dont know what strong intelligent roles she is talking about because non of that has reflected in her work.

  42. 42

So what? She right. Would you want to play a flamboyant gay guy who just sleeps around and has AIDS. I mean I don't think that way but many people do. I don't think she never wants to play latino where you could tell her ethnicity. She did that in Honey and now Machete. And she's American. Just like my cousins, nieces and nephews are Americans. They were born here. They don't consider themselves or act like Trinidadians. They enjoy the culture and the food and are proud that their parents are from there, but they're as American as apple pie.

  43. 43

I don't get why any of you feel the need to make the decision for Jessica Alba concerning what culture or background she "should embrace". None of you know her or anything about her childhood, and frankly, it's none of your business.

  44. 44

    Latina repentida..PUTA!!

  45. 45

I seriously can't comprehend how dumb you are. She doesn't want to play the stereotype latin girls..Which would be loud/obnoxious/slutty. Just the same as cam gigandet is type casted as the villain constantly (Twilight guy). A black guy that is either a drug dealer or a thug.

So basically by giving her hell for that, You want her to play the stereotypical latina girl and either be a hooker or obnoxious. You sir are an idiot.

  46. 46

What I don't get is after having said negative comments about her ethnicity, etc…, magazines like Latina still have her on their cover. She's just a no talent twat. And she doesn't want to portray Hispanic women like that but she plays a character named Honey…….dumb idiot.

  47. 47

FIRST OF ALL HER FATHER IS MEXICAN HER GRANDFATHER IS MEXICAN. HER GRANDFATHER IMMIGRATED TO THE STATES AND WAS ASHAME OF HIS BACK GROUND N HE DIDN'T TEACH HIS CHILDREN JESSICAS FATHER HOW TO SPEAK SPANISH! HOW DO I KNOW HER BASTARD OF A FATHER SAID IT IN A INTERVIEW AND WAS PROUD OF WHAT HE SAID.SO DID JESSICA!
JESSICA IS HALF WHITE N HALF LATIN PERIOD! DON'T BULLSHIT N START ADDING MORE BACKGROUNDS TO HER NAME CUZ ITS BULLSHIT.
THAT BITCH CAREER IS IN THE GUTTER BECUZ THE BITCH WANTS TO ONLY PLAY WHITE ROLES! IT LIKE A BLACK PERSON TRYING TO PLAY WHITE ROLE! THATS BITCH LOOKS MEXICAN JUST LOOK AT HER FACE! AND SHE NEEDS TO TRY ACTING LIKE SHES A WHITE PERSON FROM THE OUTSIDE, WE ALL HAVE EYES AND BITCH YOU ARE NOT WHITE! STOP DYING YOUR HAIR BEACH BLONDE AND WEARING BLUE CONTACTS BECAUSE ITS LOOKS RIDICULOUS! GOD! P.S ALBA IS A LATIN LAST NAME!
BITCH U ARE MEXICAN AND U SHOULD BE PROUD BECUZ YOU LOOK LIKE AN IDIOT TALKING SHIT!

  48. 48

what does having blonde hair have to do with your ethnicity? i've seen white people who dye their hair jet black and i've seen black people with bleach blonde hair. and people nowadays dye their hair pink and green and all sorts of colors, you should know. hair color is a preference. stop using that she has blonde hair "to try to be white." start living in 2010.

  49. 49

  50. 50

What's wrong with her comment? She's not shying from being of "Latin" descent, only the way they have been presented to her via screenplays - thus far. I don't get it Perez. If you could look to the screen writers and directors etc and provide commentary on them, your comments might be more insightful. Pure-Jess blame is not. Perez seems to love a bit of Jess-blame and not always of the Alba variety. Odd

  51. 51

She didn't say anything about hating her ethnicity whatsoever…

  52. 52

I don't see what the big deal is. Maybe she was raised in a way so that she doesn't identify with being 'Latina'. It's her choice. I think it very ethnocentric to force someone to identify with a certain culture on the basis of where their parents or grandparents came from or by the colour of their skin.

  53. 53

Re: just4betancourt – Yeah Latin FROM EUROPE YOU STUPID RACIST BITCH. I CAN WRITE IN ALL CAPS TOO. Now do us all a favor and take a walk into moving traffic like the tard you are. Alba doesn't owe you shit!

  54. 54

Get the fuck over yourself alba

  55. 55

"But who are we kidding? She'll probably dye her hair back to blonde in like a week!"

what hair? another day another wig, another round of thinning drugs/cancer sticks/diet of no nutrients that makes the hair she's got -it's disappearing-super shitty.
nicole ritchie is much much worse though, the whole sid eof her head there is no hair- weaving it- dont call it 'her hair"!

  56. 56

What about the the character she played it Never Been Kissed…that character was dumb as dirt…she didn't think that was offensive to women?

  57. 57

with all my heart I hope that she gets hit by a car. She in an embarassment to the world and our culture doesn't want that piece of shit actress who can't carry a film and ONLY plays morons!!! We have Salma!!

  58. 58

wow… what significant roles has she played then as a "non-latina" woman???

  59. 59

Re: RichAHole – lolz. so right.

  60. 60

my dad is croatian and my mom is mexican… i was born and raised in sunny SD. Jessica Alba looks more "Latina" than i do, yet i, unlike her embrace my mexican roots. we really don't need role models like Jessica. she hasn't done anything significant or worthy of our admiration. I agree with BelleMorte… we have Salma. and other latinas… such as Penelope Cruz (yes, she's spanish but considers herself latina in hollywood), Eva Longoria, Eva Mendez, Michelle Rodriguez is not one to shy away from her roots either. We also now have the lovely Sofia Vergara (so stoked for her!)… one to watch out for is Ana de la Reguera in HBO's Eastbound & Down. so clearly we have strong female latina role models to look up to… jessica can con't diluting her mexicaness for all i care. cash looks latino although he's half black, her kid looks latina, and she definitely looks latina. so i don't know how the hell she's "cutting loose".

  61. 61

Re: DuckButt – i was so going there! lolz.

  62. 62

    perez is very insecure.

  63. 63

This bitch needs to sit her ass down. If she doesn't want to be known as Mexican … I could care less. We don't need her anyway. But for her to make it sound like the films she's lucky enough to get are deep and meaningful is bullshit. Spy kids 4! Please … Let's face it this bitch ain't getting an Oscar nomination any time soon. Get over yourself Alba.

  64. 64

    never had talent.

  65. 65

Re: just4betancourt – i cant stand people like you. first of all relax with the caps. second of all stop calling her bitch. she cant hear you nor is she going to read YOUR comment especially since your opinion means less than nothing to her. who the fuck cares if she wants to embrace her background? who are you or anybody to force someone to do that? its none of your business and its not perez's business either. if you love being latina so much then YOU go concentrate on embracing the culture and background. there is nothing wrong with that. and theres nothing wrong with not wanting to embrace it either. oh and p.s. just because she dyes her hair blonde doesn't mean shes trying to be white since ive seen many latinas dying their hair the same color and embracing their culture. as for the blue contacts she had to put those on for her role in fantastic four. oh and you misspelled bleach. so just take a chill pill and relax. perhaps its people like you who makes actresses like jessica alba not want to play such stereotypical roles.

  66. 66

    sound pretty legit
if i was an actress i wouldnt wanna play a drunk cause im irish

  69. 69

    WOW…again with the dumb comments.
I am hispanic and I agree with her. I hate when they try to potray hispanic women as woman with no class cooking and cleaning all day. Hispanic woman are way more than that and I applaud her for standing up for us!!!!!!!!!!!

  70. Paty says – reply to this

    70

Yes, but she can play a woman who walks around in her bikini all the time in that stupid movie with that Fast and Furious guy. LAME!

    Ugly ?????
Mouahhhhhh someone got a sore tampons this morning .

  72. 72

What part of the quote did you not get? She said she didn't want to play the stereotyped Latina woman, and wants to play women who are portrayed as strong and intelligent. I don't see what is wrong with that. Maybe you should be bitching out the screen writers who don't create strong, intelligent Latina characters.

I agree 100% with this Julie Stone!!
I read that she was teaching her daughter Spanish and English, isn't that having pride in her culture?

  73. 73

Re: azulle – A bit offtopic but do you embrace your croatian roots??

  74. 74

Re: chuchuburger – Just the fact that you actually watched that movie is shameful.

  75. 75

tas bien pendejo!! you obviously didint get the quote…

  76. 76

I don;t understand your hate for her, just because she doesn't want to be associated with being Latina, NOT because she is self hating (i hope), BUT because she doesn't people/the industry to pigeon hole her into a whole bunch of Stereotypical characters.

Kinda like 80% of Latino actors out there.

What I don't fully know if Alba is debasing her culture/heritage. But i think Perez, you should try to have an open mind when it comes to her strategy.

Ask her, give her an opportunity to Convince you that she is right. Then if she is worng, bash the shit out her position, not her.

  77. 77

WHAT ABOUT ZOE "DONT CALL ME BLACK" SALDANA. SHE PLAYS IN MANY BLACK ROLES BUT DOESNT WANT TO BE REFERED TO AS BEING BLACK AT ALL…. ITS A SHAME.

  78. 78

Leave her the f..k alone she's not saying anything bad what's wrong with what she said that has you calling her a puta?, that's horrible most latin women in film are stereotyped really crappy so why would she want a crappy script?.I don't see why you think she's only latin why do we alway have to pick on people of different races and expect them to choose a side.Perez do you think because she looks hispanic when she's half means she has to take hispanic roles to be considered one?.

  79. 79

Re: M.t. Dickinson – Finally someone intelligent,I couldn't have said it better.

  80. 80

why are we so obsessed with her race? If this was an english actress for example we wouldnt be so concerned about her not portraying english characters. Leave Jessica alone if she doesnt want to call herself latina then thats HER business!

  81. 81

Re: JoeyBing02 – Couldnt have said it better myself

  82. 82

I read her quote; but it's a contradiction of the work she had done. If memory serves me right, she had no problem play a ding-bat in two movies (one with Drew Barrymore (Love her) and one with (one of Jessica Simpson's ex-boyfriend's; sorry can't remember his name). But if she is going to make a statement about playing a strong women, they why did she agree and play those rolls. Get your comments straight before you make them becuase you just sound like an ass. Latin is beautiful no matter how you show it!

  83. 83

Re: baby~sealz – But, what do you call yourself?? Half beaner, half jig a boo. I know: A beaner-boo!!

  84. 84

Ya and if she does then she has every damn right to. Just like how you dye your hair all the colors of the rainbow.

  85. 85

Re: hover me charlie – Very well said. Couldn't have said it better myself.

  86. k-rol says – reply to this

    86

she is so fken lame, she should get as many rolls as she can get since her career sucks already.

  87. 87

Fuck you Perez. Keep your racist bullshit to yourself. She does "embrace where she's from" (good English BTW) - she's from AMERICA! Your are such a brainless muckraking douchebag.

  88. 88

Latin STereotype…hmm let's see… Ms. Vergara from Modern Family?? She's freakin' awesome. I love her. What's wrong with that? My sister in law in a stereotype. I know plenty Of other stereotypes that are on TV. Some of them get OSCARS–> Halle Berry!!

  89. 89

She's actually doing us a HUGE favor by not playing Latina roles! Has anyone ever seen Fantastic Four, enough said. I get the whole stereotypical thing but she just does'nt at all like to be called Latina.

  90. 90

i wouldnt play a racist stereotype either. perez blatantly cant read.

  91. 91

Re: RichAHole – first one to say she sucks, none of her roles have been good by any stretch of the imagination. fantastic Four was worst because she was in it, but it's nice to see a Latina Face on a classic white character.

  92. 92

I even liked her but now … what is the problem of being Latina? I am Portuguese, I am latina and I am proud of it!

  93. 93

She is an idiot!!! Thought she was an actress. DUH!! its called acting but i guess she doesnt know much of that. She is trying to be white when the bitch has a year round tan. I would get it if she was one of those light skinned Latina but she is not embrace your tan bitch, brown eyes, and BROWN skin. YOUR BROWN!!!!! Last time i checked they arent making a ton of mexican movies w sterotypical women. LAME!!! she sucks

  94. 94

I call bullshit, so she's able to play the tramp in movies because it so "speaks to her"…fucking stupid ass bitch.

  95. 95

Re: M.t. Dickinson – umm fuck ur self piece of shit !

  96. 96

THEN WHY IN THE HELL DID SHE PLAY AN IDIOT IN "NEVER BEEN KISSED"? WHAT SHE'S BASICALLY SAYING IS THAT, MEXICANS ARE IDIOTS AND THAT SHE WANTS NOTHING TO DO WITH THEM. SHE NEEDS TO SHUT THE HELL UP, AND LOOK IN THE MIRROR BECAUSE SHE IS CLEARLY MEXICAN!!!!!!!!!!

  100. 100

Ok Perez, this time you have gone to far!! You are calling her a whore? Seriously? I just lost a lot of respect for you. Look I dont think you get what shes saying. She doesnt want to play stereotypical roles that degrade our race. What the hell is wrong with that? And shes only half Latina, she didn't grow up in Mexico! She grew up in the US and culturally she identifies more with her American (white) side than with her Mexican (latina) side. I don't see nothing wrong with that either. I don't think shes ever tried to deny her roots. She knows shes half Mexican. She says it all the time. You just want to talk major shit fat ass.
