Jimmy Fallon Peeved With NBC!

| Filed under: TV NewsJimmy Fallon

Careful what you say! NBC doesn't have the greatest track record with late-night hosts!

We think everyone agrees that Jimmy Fallon did a great job hosting the Emmys on Sunday. Of course, his big moment was his opening Glee-inspired number, which is streaming all over the Internet for your enjoyment.

But one place you won't find the video is on NBC.com, as the network and TV Academy didn't secure the rights to Bruce Springsteen's song to allow them to do so.

The reason? What else? Money! No one wanted to pay up! And Jimmy thinks that was a mistake! He told sources:

"That could have been worth 500,000 hits on NBC.com. People are looking for it. We worked so hard on it and it's our own network, and it's a good commercial for our network. It's so simple, just pay for it."

Makes sense to us! We're sure through advertising they would have made back what they put into it. What a waste of a golden opportunity.

Then again, NBC has been making all kinds of brilliant decisions as of late!

So, who's looking forward to Conan?

P.S. - Since you can't watch it on NBC.com, enjoy it here! Watch the opening to the Emmy Awards above!
