The Black Crowes' Chris Robinson is picking on Taylor Swift and we think he should shut his filthy mouth!
He says:
"I find it embarrassing that adults are like, 'Taylor Swift is very talented.' She's not. She might be cute, but she's horrible. They have stylists who dress them, they make records with producers who play a chord into the computer and it all comes out the same…
"When you have computers doing it all for you… there's no individuality. Singing isn't always about being on key; it's about emotionality."

Could not agree with him more. She can write a song I'll give her that but she can't sing. She's all studio work and can't sing the same song live. It's sad really. Same with Katy Perry, love her music on the radio but she just plain sucks live.

I agree with him. Taylor isn't a good singer, she can't sing live if her life depended on it, and she isn't a great songwriter. Her music is pretty simple. People still want to feel sorry for her, and treat her like a fucking baby because of the whole Kanye West thing. After that, like everyone jumped on the Taylor Swift bandwagon. I'm not saying she isn't talented, but she's not great or anything we haven't seen before. She gets too much hype and credit that she doesn't deserve. I'm glad someone is finally telling it like it is instead of kissing her ass just because she's a superstar. We need more people in Hollywood like this.

A little close minded don't you think? Oh and like winning awards and Grammys is a big achievement these days. You don't need to be talented to win Grammys and awards, have hit songs, or sell millions of records anymore. Matter of fact, most of our mainstream pop acts (Oh yeah, I'm talking Britney, Rihanna, Gaga, you know the rest), have very little talent, while immensely talented artists are still on the bottom and don't get the respect they deserve. Chris whats his face is just a washed up drug addict who is wanting attention. How many hits did he have… I can only think of one song that he even sings. Yes I am in my late 20's and I do remember him. Taylor is a very talented young lady who has her head on her shoulders THAT MADE IT WITH OUT THE DRUGS AND PUBED OUT LOOKING FACE. I think there are just a lot of people who want to hate on her because she is the all American girl who has made it to the top THE RIGHT WAY. I think that says a lot about someone who is a young as she is and is also make big hits with her own songs she writes herself. The man was also the vocalist for Phil Lesh (Grateful Dead) on more than one of his solo tours. He can bring it live and shows nothing but respect. He was obviously asked this question out of context. God forbid he give his opinion… we all do constantly without being analyzed.
But, he is correct. She is the most unoriginal artist out there right now.

Chris is totally right. I've seen Black Crowes live and he can sing circles around her. Anyone catch the awards show where Taylor sang with Stevie Nicks? She was totally off key, and if you look carefully you can even see some of the cringing expressions on Stevie's face.
Taylor is cute, has a voice that is okay for what she does, but she's WAY overrated.
Don´t attack Chris Robinson, because he´s just telling the truth. Taylor Swift is a beautiful young lady and truly one of the luckiest person on earth. The reality is, she can´t sing and her talent as a composer is very ordinary. But there are millions of young girls who are just like her, dreaming a cinderella life like she has. Those artists who have the true talent are forgotten, because of this majority group. Producers need to earn profit, whether they, me and you like it or not, it´s business! It sucks but that´s the reality.

All you fools think that it was handed to her on a silver platter. She's not part of Disney guys. She's one of kind. She's worked to where she got and still is working hard as an artist now. I would totally understand if you were talking about Disney stars like Selena Gomez, who can't sing, can't perform or doesn't write her songs.
Taylor IS talented but her vocals are a bit shaky. I don't this loser whoever he is singing like Beyonce on stage. Well said, Chris. I've been saying that for quite some time now, but nobody was listening. This girl can't sing. And when I say she can't sing, I mean that she sounds way too generic and equally boring. She totally lacks that individuality needed to sell records on real talent alone. She sells because other female teens relate to her lyrics. But make no mistake, there is no emotion to her songs. Writing her own songs doesn't make her talented, folks. Her writing isn't very good, by the way. Carry Underwood is much more sophisticated than Taylor Swift in every sense of the word. I also love Kellie Pickler and Lila McCann. Have you ever listened to Lila's "Go Easy On Me" song? Beautiful! But back to Ms. Underwood: Carry's music is not only beautiful, but it is also seducing–very well structured lyrically, vocally and musically. She invokes emotion in every song that she interprets. Now, that's what I call talent! Any joker can write their own material. Quality, however, can only be achieved by a few. Taylor Swift conveys the opposite of quality–inferiority. She isn't very good quite frankly. Why is she famous then, you ask? Deep down you know answer. At any rate, when Kanye West disrespected her at the VMA's, I knew that this would help her sell more records, and top the charts longer, out of sympathy. Everyone just seemed to show their support with their wallets and positive feedback, after that unfortunate incident took place.
