David Letterman Extortionist Released

That seemed fast!
Robert Halderman, the former CBS 48 Hours producer who was sent to jail for attempted extortion of David Letterman, was released from jail after serving 4 months out of 6 month sentence.
We wonder how Dave feels about that?

6 months, out in 4 is all a blackmail conviction gets you? Not much of a penalty. I might as well give it a try: Hey, Perez! If you don't give me fifty dollars, I'll tell everyone you're gay.
He didn't threaten to physically harm or kill anyone - he just threatened to defame Letterman about his slutty behavior right? 4 months is about right. He looked kinda hot before with the goatee - at least doable - he should grow back the goatee to cover up his fugly chin. Hi David Letterman! Call me for a good time!
in jail you only have to do 2/3 of your sentence for non violent crimes. don't ask me how i know
