Perezcious Deep Thought: Since Kate Gosselin loves being on all these TV shows so much, why doesn't she just move to Los Angeles permanently? She'd probably get to spend more time with her kids then!

      Here's a deeper thought….move that crazy witch to the moon and that way we'll never have to hear from her again. I wish she would just GO AWAY!!!

      Because moving your kids to another state requires the permission of the other spouse. This is a Pennsylvania law. You don't think he would make anything easy on Kate; do you?

      Perhaps she doesn't want to raise her kids in LA. Not a bad idea….

      Because she's fearful she'd either lose custody of the kids and have a whopping child payment to make, or she'd have to pay for and support Jon to move to LA so he has equal parental access to the kids. Either way it comes down to $$$$, and the fact that being able to travel to LA allows her to completely separate from the kids and pretend that she's an actual celebrity. It's hard to play out that false reality when your 8 screaming kids wake you up at 6 am after you've spent the night before being laughed off the red carpet.

      Child labour laws are far stricter in California than in PA. She would never get away with having those kids in front of the camera day in and day out without breaks, tutors etc. if they were in LA. They are filming 50 episodes for this season, which is unheard of–those poor kids never get a break.

      Also, as many pointed out already, she doesn't want to spend time with her kids, so I think she's pretty happy whenever she gets to leave them to whore her ugly face out.
