The show Kate Plus 8 is reportedly one of the programs that sent crazed James Lee over the edge and supposedly drove him to take hostages at the Discovery Channel's headquarters.
On one of his websites, he tore into the show because he felt like it promoted the ever growing population.
His deranged mind spewed on his website that "humans are the most destructive, filthy, pollutive creatures around and are wrecking what's left of the planet with their false morals and breeding cultures."
We can only think of one truly destructive, filthy, pollutive creature and he was the fiend with the gun and explosives on his chest in a building where babies were napping.

He's right…with over 6 billion people on this planet and more being born every minute we don't have enough resources to go around. Having 6-12 children in todays world is NUTS and there should be a law against it. These people can't afford to have children, so they sell they sell their souls to TV Land and now the general public is stuck with them. The Gosselins, The duggers, the octo-mom, and now that new damn family the smiths or the Jones…they give American's a bad name. Especially when you bring your religion into it, and saying God gave you the right to make babies. Sure God gave you the right but did he tell you to abuse it? The man was nuts in getting his point across but he had a very valid point. We humans are the only species out there that takes from the planet and gives nothing back. We kill, rape, molest and steal…for what?? For our own sick impulses. It's not negative thinking. It's logical thinking. Think of how the world would be without humans?
