Comedian Robert Schimmel Dies In Car Accident
Standup comic Robert Schimmel, who was a frequent guest on Late Night with Conan O'Brien and Howard Stern's radio show passed away Friday evening after suffering serious injuries in a car accident.
Schimmel was a passenger in a car driven by his 19-year-old daughter Aliyah Schimmel. The vehicle the two were riding in rolled on to the side of the freeway after Aliyah swerved to avoid another car.
Schimmel's spokesman Howard Bragman says that Aliyah is hospitalized and in stable condition.
Robert was 60-years-old.
So sad.

I loved the insult dog on Conan and the shorts on SNL like the "Ambigiously Gay Duo." So sad.
It's truly sad. I can't imagine how his daughter feels now, let us hope that she will recover from the trauma and not blame herself for this incident.

Newsflash: This guy was a pig. He left his wife of 20-some years for his teenaged daughter's best friend. Married her then beat the shit out of her. Oh, and he wasn't funny.
No one deserves cancer or death, but this dude was no saint, so let's not pretend he was just cuz he's dead. KARMA.
He survived a heart attack, has beaten cancer and then he was on The Howard Stern Show not too long ago saying he needed(I believe) a liver transplant and now he died from a injuries from a car accident. This really is sad. His daughter must feel terrible. R.I.P.

I'm not sure who this man was, but this is the saddest news I've heard in a while. My prayers with his family but especially to his daughter and I pray that she will be able to live a normal life after this.
