Kara DioGuardi Makes Her Official Exit From AI Statement

This isn't exactly brand new information, but now it's been made official.

Kara DIOlusional has made a statement regarding her exit from American Idol and girlfriend is pretending she didn't get fired!

The former judge says:

“I felt like I won the lottery when I joined American Idol two years ago, but I feel like now is the best time to leave Idol. I am very proud to have been associated with American Idol – it has truly been an amazing experience … I look forward to my next challenge, and want to thank everyone who has supported me. All the best to everyone on Season 10!”

Everyone knows that Kara's tired ass was fired from AI, so guess what? You ain't fooling anybody, honey!

Kara deserved more respect than AI gave her. She put years of hard work in the music industry and 2 years at Idol. Like her or not, she knows her stuff. Best wishes to her! I'll always be a fan.

I don't think she was fired….she just wasn't asked back, and there is a difference. Let's not be overly dramatic. After all, she wasn't that bad!

Fact is with that one lame-ass job Kara's accomplished a hell of a lot more than you did Perez you desperate ass.

I didn't care for her as a judge but she wasn't the worst. Honestly I'd take her fails over Simon Cowell's ego.

She's a writer and singer who made a name for herself with her own talent. Perez, you have creative talent as a blog writer, but her gift far surpasses yours and your writing is all centered around other people.

Give KD the credit she deserves. The people you call "truly amazing" are often anything but. The people you ridicule the most seem to be more out of your jealousy.

Though Ms. DioGuardi never left much of an impression on me—either good or bad, I give her props for exiting the show in a very classy way. In an age where "graceful exits" are seemingly a thing of the past, it is nice to see someone leave a situation without burning bridges when her gut instinct/reaction might have been to do so. If anything, she deserves praise for that.
